  • Awesome bowling alley located in Rochelle, IL. The lanes were oiled nicely, and the place seems really well maintained. I'll definitely be back here to bowl! Check it out!

Beautiful center. Owners should be very proud of this place. Only $2 a game and somehow they're still in business. Remember this center next time you hear the USBC say "we have to let them install string pins and charge $35/hour or they can't survive!". Nice try on that Big4 split, PD.

Now those are classic and elegant masking units made by Brunswick. When they were new they had lights behind the plastic laminate that looked like colored stars. When they turn the house lights down with those masks lit up it looked really cool. I’ve only seen one video of a place that not only maintained the lights but upgraded them to LED’s so they really stand out. This place also maintained the sweeps and the mask covering the pin cups.

That place reminds me of the old Lynnwood bowl in my home city of Edmonton Canada, 16 lanes, jetback A machines and Brunsy Flyer pins , I remember goofing off some nights and trying to get 300 with 6 and 8 pounders 😂

I like the wood lanes. The star shields are very cool but why would you put the boarders as yellow?! Plus they should have kept the old Brunswick logo on the Model A sweep. But I do like the up ground ball returns.

Model A machines are THE best to bowl with, and I like to see they did away with the 90 overtravel. Only thing I don't like are the lack of deck shields and the modification where they make the machine go to 2nd ball on a strike, just let the deck do the detecting! Having the scorer do it is just asking for problems.

I like the support of the other bowlers while you’re throwing🤣

I like how the ball returns aren't all the way up the foul to allow you to kick when throwing your ball. Can't tell you the number of times I've fallen at a center because of those.

Modern bowling centers, especially Bowlero, are so sterile! I like the character of these places! Nice!

This is def a lot quicker than those A2s at the Bowlero that would auto go to second cycle on a strike

From the looks of it these aren’t converted jetbacks. Its a bit slower in terms of speed. The ones i work on dont use that type of cushion. I could be wrong though

Everything sounded so satisfying, from the wood section of the lanes to the model A pinsetters. I bowled here a few times but only on the high end of the house- do they still have the colorful dots on the approach? I remember being salty because they were at an unusual distance from the foul line, and some of the dots had 5 boards between then instead of 4.

Outside is the best line to play on oily lanes
