Well Jacob has a good amount of money coming in from him reviewing these cigarettes so sure it’s probably not a waste of money for him, but I think he knows he’s being disingenuous. Everybody know smoking specifically cigarettes are one of the worst things a person can do. I used to say weed was my best friend and looking back that was probably like one of those best friends that were not such a great influence or even manipulative, if I’m personifying it.
It's a shame that cigarettes have tarnished all. Well I now quitted Marlboro Red and Camel Filters. I only smoke low tar and low nicotine due to extreme stress.
Worst thing? Including drinking(Seldom I drink beer.) Smartphone addiction etc.
"kinda thing" 🤣... I love this duo, they are both wholesome.
Can't wait until this guy starts to see the effects of premature aging. This hits smokers hard in their late 20s/early 30s.
Money doesn't mean a lot when you have irreversible skin damage. Looking older than your peers and older than people who have ten years on you. I bet that will be worth it, right?
well im 21 and look 12 so idc ill take it
The problem is not only the money, the biggest problem is my health. I never breath like I do now, smoking was killing my slowly !
FACTS! Dude, I was getting heart pain and I am only 30 years old. I haven't had chest pain since I quit cigs. I recently quit weed too, I feel alive for once in my life.
Well I need to say that any junk food or beverage can also wreck health. Thus I only eat proper meal. Never drink or eat junk food except when I'm busy.
Weed is for treatment. I never inhale my pipe and E pipe smoking.
@@JinnYoungKim Never been a junk food eater, even when chronically smoking. I cook daily, healthy foods. Mainly cause my husband had a heart attack at 24 when I first met him. I'm hispanic, we cook everyday!lmao
@@LoneWolfj11 Good. But keep in mind that even non smokers can die from disease.
I wish I grow my own vegetables as well.
@@LoneWolfj11 Hispanic? What do you eat then?
dr frank killing it this week with these uploads FOR REAL 🙌🔥🔥
Man this is a great video, lot of reality checks within. You deserve millions of subscribers cuz i believe you’d help countless people.
Very kind of you thanks!
Jacob has a unique opportunity to turn himself around and in the process help more people understand, just as you do in this excellent video. When I used to smoke I found it harder to focus and get words out even just from the sheer frustration.
FANTASTIC MORE LIKE THIS DR FRANK!
I enjoyed the light up but never actually enjoyed the cigarette after the first drag or two. So pretty on point with what you're describing. The addiction enjoyed the light up.
And I certainly don't miss the car windows being down in the winter after enjoying that light up 🥶
LOVE your content so much. It's the best I have seen so far. On day 5 of nicotine free existence after more than 25 years of smoking. Not even considering going back. This is totally doable when your mind is set.
Subcriptions are not addicting. It's a waste of money sure, but it's not crippling like addiction can be.
That’s very valid
I grow weed and have worked in the cannabis industry, so it's complicated for me. My knowledge and relationship with cannabis has been financially beneficial to me. I still want to quit for health and relationship goals.
Fair enough I’m a 14 year old addict I do Xanax codine smoke weed all that I feel like I need to quit for my health I can’t remember weeks of my life it feels like my Brian is mush lmao honestly I need rehab
@@imsyn shit man that sounds just awful, torturous. Do everything you can to get some help and i mean that will so much love.
In my humble opinion weed is nothing but depression fuel once it becomes a daily ritual.
You have won my subscription
Oh he is so young! What a shame. I dread to think where this guy will end up 20, 30 or 40 years from now 😰 I wish him all the best tho 🙏🏻
I could've bought a new Lamborgini and 6 Rolexes for the money I spent on weed and cigarettes the past 30 years.
I enjoyed this reaction brother
It's all a crutch, it's all a waste of money. Think about it this way. It's money you are straight dunking in the garbage. Money you will never see again. Something non-existent. You don't need it, its all mental and addicting. I am speaking from experience. I quit smoking cigs in January 2021 after 12+.years of smoking a pack every 2 days. Sometimes a pack a day. It's was even harder to quit than weed I would say. I was an emotional wreck the first month. (I even contemplated speaking to a therapist) I also quit smoking weed 2 weeks ago, and I feel in control of myself for once in my life. It's a crutch. Spend your money on something else. I rather actually spend my money on things that bring me true happiness. (art supplies, video games, dinner (juicy steaks mm). lol.
Ps. I completely agree. "we all agree, we enjoy it". If I based my life on this I'd never quit. I thought I never could, or would, or even wanted to quit. This is the lie I told myself. I enjoyed it and I could afford it. But, reality was it doesn't matter. It's a crutch, and I don't need it.
Yeah it’s honestly not about the money. I could not agree more with you
I have a funny feeling he loves the phrase “you know what I’m sayn”
Vaping is the biggest waste of money because all you get is a 20 min buzz that makes you feel sick. when I was vaping I was constantly vomiting so that's why I want to quit, I relapsed on vaping today and I have to start all over but hopefully, I never vape again.
Some people don't enjoy the other cigarettes. As much as the first cigarette of the day
I was curious what you thought of this one lol. I only realized nicotine was a waste of money after I quit. When the addiction faded away, so did my enjoyment of vaping and that attachment to the whole ritual. It was one thing to vape all day at home, but it felt like a chore to be withdrawing when spending time with people indoors and having to excuse myself every 30 mins to vape.
It’s definitely a waste of money. When I first started I loved it. I loved everything about vaping the buzz, the flavor, the looks, everything. And I didn’t want to quit but eventually you wont even be able to get buzzed and all that excitement goes away. Waste of money and time
Facts loosing your buzz is heart breaking :( and we are too addicted to wait at least 24 hours to get a tolerance break 💔😰
I smoked for 11 years. Not once did I regret it. Smoking is good because my Asperger's syndrome was so fckn high I didn't know to act like normal human being or do with my hands so smoking 🚬 saved me in many situations.
Based
About the subscription topic… it’s not necessarily a waste of money because you can cancel anytime if you stop using it. Whereas with smoking cigarettes, it’s not always easy to just cancel/quit and by the time you’re ready and want to quit, it’s usually too late and your health is already compromised.
It all depends on the person if its a waste of money for them. Even if i was rich it would be a waste for me . With how much jacob enjoys smoking im sure it is worth it for him
Dr. Frank, what is your opinion on Chantix (varenicline) for nicotine cravings?
At first vaping was expensive but then I figured out a way to only spend like $25 a month for it so its good and not so good at the same time, however, when I quit smoking thc carts (which is about 22 days now) I've saved already potentially $200-$250 on which is great cause I get to invest more or just buy better food to eat XD
"you know what I'm saying"
Usually yeah, if you're enjoying something it's not a waste, but having a HOLE in your THROAT and needing an oxygen tank is going to cause some SEVERE regret. Apply that logic to anything, 'i know meth will hurt me in a few years but it's not hurting me right now and i enjoy it' Don't sabotage your old self, old you doesn't want to be stuck at home with an oxygen tank. Maybe he doesn't know anyone personally who lives that way. It's a sad thing to watch.
You are 1000% right. We don't enjoy whatever it is we're doing directly, we're enjoying how that thing makes us feel, and you can definitely feel better without them.
That could be why some people enjoy soda or tea more. Because of the caffeine and sugar
yoo i was looking at my that video the other day
Jesus I currently trying to quit and haven’t bought a vape. Went outside and found a tape from when I first tried that I threw outside
yes sir yes sir you know what i'm saying you know what i'm saying
Now that I've quit, I'm an wall street investor! Now I'll have extra $$$ AND extra years.
hey, i’ve been watching your videos the past few days about carts and wanted to comment on a recent video in hopes you could see this comment and respond to me. i just wanted to ask, if you smoked black market carts for 2 plus years, 19 years old now, what are the health affects down the road? like if you stopped cold turkey and never did it again, what happens to you in the future?
No one knows, I smoked Bm carts too for years on/off. my lungs are probably set back a few years and i bet there’s a lot of damage . i refuse to buy another cart full of random poison. i don’t think anyone knows the effects, but the best we can do is heal our lungs
10% return on an index is not conservative, but considered average. I think it's optimistic and leads to much bigger numbers than you would actually see in real life. Try 5% or 6% for estimates.
Money enjoyed is never money wasted. However, me personally, both cigarettes and vapes are an enormous waste of money. Your lungs are precious and should not be take for granted.
However, cigars and snus i don’t see as a complete waste of money (partly a waste tho)
I quit vaping 35 days ago and have saved $340 so far. I didn’t quit because of the money, but I really enjoy that extra cash! 😁
as an addict, to me it’s a waste of money because i dont Want to be addicted. it’s a fleeting source of dopamine, and even if i spent the $10 on something like food that may be eaten faster than the vape would run out, at least the food would somewhat nourish my body and is arguably needed for survival. actually at no point in my addiction did i think a vape was worth the money, i just lack self control (getting better but i fall back a lot)
Oh gosh. The mental gymnastics going on here to justify the habit is so cringey. It reminds me of myself telling people I love vaping after coming home from the gym and work and that I just like to do it at home by myself, trying to make it sound like it's not a big deal. I left the part out where I turned into a panicky monster if my vape died, had it in my hand literally all the time, even in the bathroom, vaped anyway even though the hot juice spit on my teeth causing pain, vaped through a 120 ml bottles even though some flavors were really bad and I didn't want that money to go to waste.
Personal opinions have started to destroy the reality of things and facts smh.
Something that brings you genuine joy is not a waste of money. However, nicotine only brings joy 1% of the time you use it 99% of the time it brings low energy and need and destroys everything you have around you.
Absolutely a waste of money, that’s pretty damn obvious. To each their own; but that doesn’t make it NOT a waste. Our body doesn’t need it, it’s not good for us, etc. We could easily invest that money instead
Not a waste of money, it's a waste of health.
YES, they are but you do not realize it when you are smoking because most smokers do enjoy it but when you get to that point that you may be thinking about quitting it becomes less of a pleasure, most people have a house payment or rent and living paycheck to paycheck and when you realize depending on what state you live in, how much you spend a month on smokes, you kind of don't think it's a pleasure anymore my husband and I where both smoking smokers and just recently quit but together it was costing us about $500 a month, and sometimes there were times that we didn't even know we would make it through till the next paycheck.. but we always had smokes, what a crock of S#$t, no they are not worth it and absolutely a huge waste of money!!
I vape and I even think it’s a waste of money like 30 bucks every week or 2 could be put to better use
Wow the title triggered me 🤣
Absolutely a waste of money and opportunity cost of time and not to mention the long term health care cost and effects on your health and ultimately a sooner death.
lets play a game. take a shot of water each time someone says kind of thing, or naw'msayin'. stay hydrated.
Yes, I believe weed is a waste of money. That's why I grow my own...
It's a waste of money for the health service and hospitals who have to deal with the dying and sick from smoking. I would love to see this Jacob in 20 years lighting up a cigarette looking so pretty. But I can look at him now and I see one very insecure person. Madness to actually promote smoking.
Jacob is goat, but it's an investment really, the price you have to pay to be cool 😎 😎 😎 ....know what i'm sayin
Yes, I believe nicotine is a waste of money. But so is everything else. Eating out is a waste of money. Taxes are a waste of money, rent even. So while I don’t smoke anymore I don’t think cigarettes are more of a waste of money than anything else.
I like smoking with Jacob Jones
damn waste of money, been off it for a week and my bank account is not dwindling
IMO I’m 14 I spend my money on lean weed xans cigs and nic sticks I literally can’t function with out it literally
$3500 Australian dollars in 14 months of vapes.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Type of thing-
😆
That’s a sad way to make money, using yourself as a tobacco Guinea pig. As far as enjoying it, he didn’t enjoy it naturally, his first time smoking wasn’t enjoyable. Smoking isn’t like giving a lollipop to a child and they love it instantly. He had to put up with his body rejecting the cigarettes and coughing for a while before he could begin to enjoy it. Naturally the more addicted he becomes the more he will enjoy it, like heroin, the enjoyment becomes more about feeling normal.
I would say it is and isn't a waste, it is in the same sense as like mcdonalds you could not eat mcdonalds but you like it so you do. If you enjoy doing somthing then the money spent on it isn't wasted, but used. Sorta like a hobby I guess.
everyone enjoys something in this life man, literally or whats the point?, everyone has their fav food, drink, activity, a joy that has withdrawal symptoms, cigarettes, tits, making money, spending money, laughing with friends, all joys of life, at some point being obsessive with addiction is justifying your own weakness, is a you problem
This guy is like addicted to nicotine kinda thing
Dude Apple Music and Netflix won’t kill you tho lol
No i dont think vapeing waste of money because i quit smokeing
He needs to quit and reinvent himself before it’s too late
Why? its his life he do whatever he wants and it isnt hurting anyone else.
dude needs to hit the gym
Don’t mean to be rude to Jacob but going to the gym could change his life
How about all those iced coffee's??
Coffee is also addicting. But, it's not setting your lungs on fire lol.
I don’t drink caffeine
You have a point
@@AddictionMindset Getting caffeine from coffee or tea. Is better for them then getting it from energy drinks or soda
"he enjoys smoking because of the feeling of relief...is nothing more than fighting off the withdrawal symptoms."
Kinda like the pleasure of eating is just the relief of hunger - so it's not really pleasure at all right? Or like the feeling of being in love is just a chemical reaction in your brain - so it's not really real right?
The way people feel at liberty to dehumanize tobacco and nicotine users, to ignore and dismiss their voice and experience, to write it off with some sciencey mumbo jumbo just shows how successful tobacco control have been in stigmatizing tobacco users.
Oh, and talking about 'brainwashing' Tobacco Control is a global, billion dollar industry funded by taxpayers and billionaires.
Cigarettes have tarnished all.
Jacob seems somewhat disingenuous. Can’t wait to see him in a couple of years wasted.
If it causes cancer and leads you down a path in life you don't really want to go, especially when it comes to your health, then I say it definitely is a waste of money. Smoking is foolish. I speak those words as a proud nonsmoker for life. Your lungs need clean air, not smoke!
All this anti-smoking propaganda upsets me. The automobile industry is responsible for billions of tons of cancerous exhausts, yet the government promotes car ownership. The pollutants from a car exhaust pipe are infinitely more concentrated and deadly than any cigarette smoke.
Thanks , i will stop driving my car and start smoking two packs a day in support of your statement. How dare they say it's bad for me.
Whataboutism at its finest
Not is not a waste of money is just that depends how many years you are smoking the different feeling you have about it I smoke for 20 years strong.when I quit cigarettes for vape I was dying with each one of them
