It immediately made me think of how far from home I am and how those that are dear to me echo the sentiment. “Please come home.” The verse melody went right into me like a knife, cutting to my sense of yearning like a surgical blade. I teared up in moments but I had a bitter sweet smile the whole time. Thank you Cole. Your music always touches me in some fashion and I’m always glad that it does. Even when it draws up loss and melancholy it’s still amazing.

This song helped me get through a hard time when the team which I was with that was more like family broke apart I became almost depressed and this song helped me deal with all the regrets of the past and the things I didn’t say that i wish I did say when I got the chance to do so. To tell them how much they meant to me and how much they helped me get through a time when I had no friends except them because at the time at home I was bullied by almost everyone I was forced to be around every day and they helped me get through it.
