Sifu Sahli Avci was my first teacher about 20 years ago (just about the time he founded his own organization). When there was a seminar (graduation), he trained with every student, 8 hours straight. I never saw him abusive towards his students. Yes, I have heard stories, too. From what I can remember, he was very kind and humbled. His skills concerning martial arts (WT) are on another level. He knew how to make WT work in real life!
