Indeed. I completely concur with you on that observation; the Battletoads do have quite the petrifying, perverse visage that screams horror-stricken. And it is all in their eyes. 👀
I think their eyes represent how a lot of people felt playing that hard ass game back in then.
I like how weird the Toads look. Their whole appeal is being gross, out there, and edgy. The eyes show that off pretty well. They’re like if a rock album cover was made into a game.
Blimey! I must say that this entire line of figures has truly impressed me. From the accessories to the unique sculpts and varying scale, there is an alluring element of ‘fun’ to collecting this set. They will certainly bring both colour and joy to your collection, sitting aloft the shelf. Colour this old English-Italian Doctor utterly astonished.

I always liked Rash the most. He has those cool ass shades. 😎
The fact that he's the same size as Rash really irks me, since the toads are separated by strength and speed in the games, which translates to their stature. They even show Zitz as taller in the promo shots.
I guess it depends which game. These figures seem to be an amalgamation of all the different versions
@@AnthonysCustoms I'm not a super Battletoads expert, but I'm pretty sure the only time Zitz was the same size as Rash was in the NES game in the sprites that didn't distinguish the toads. The gold standard is the arcade game, where all 3 toads are playable, and to a lesser extent, Battlemaniacs for the SNES. I do think it's awesome that Rash has the ability to remove his sunglasses, arm bands, and belt, so you can get pretty much any look for him from the games. Zitz just isn't so lucky.
These Battletoads figs would look mad good posed up fighting the Super7 Ninja Turtles, tbh
I can understand if they left Pimple for last since he is the bigger toad and will need his own molds

The exclusive not getting the accessories and being more expensive because “exclusive” gives me zero desire to get it
I think the packaging and figures look great but I find it odd they used the packaging from the NES game when their accessories are and they’re looks are modeled after the arcade game

Are the elbows a different color than the rest or is that just the video?
Different plastic. Probably mostly the lighting. I don't remember noticing in person but it's been a few weeks there could be a slight difference
The loose waist joint is a bummer. Hope Earthworm Jim is better.
I just realized that the zitz I got has 2 left forearm pieces, as mine doesn't have the wrist communicator on the right forearm. it doesn't affect the articulation or sculpt at all so it's not a big deal, but it is weird.
I think I’d rather have Zits than a Rash.

Why are Zitz and Rash the same height?
I'm guessing it's because they were in some games and that's what the licensor wanted

These figures look freaking cool. The loose joints are the only downside I see.
I think the exclusive should come with at least as much as the normal release. I would hate to have to get the base version for all options made even worse because of the difference in color.
The eyes seem a bit off/vacant in this one.

Its too bad premium dna has some good licenses... I cant support them after megalopolis stole money from so many people. Megalopolis pretended to go under only to launch a new company as premium dna to avoid having to fulfill orders they had already taken money for. I encourage everyone to boycott premium dna.
