He merely commanded. They do often this, portraying Jesus as straining and shaking, begging and asking. Weeping. The only time He is known to do this is in the Garden, and briefly (then was greeted through a window in time by the prophets, for it is this moment they saw). And what business does God have asking His own creation to obey Him. To portray Him this way reduces the story of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And if they will talk about Jesus, they must talk about Him the way the origin of the story portrays Him. As Emmanuel. As the fullness of God dwelling on earth. The Light. The Word made flesh. Otherwise if a story does not match it's original text, it is not a true presentation. I just get annoyed that even Christians do not acknowledge who Jesus IS. The Vine stretching through time and space collecting the nations of the world to Himself.
