Apex Legends has had a bunch of bugs and glitches throughout the various Seasons, but some of the best glitches include ones that launch you across the map.
On the Kings Canyon map, there used to be a bug that if you punched a Supply Bin, then hopped on the Loot Bin, you would go flying across the map!
In Season 20 of Apex Legends on the Storm Point map, you can fly across the map with Octane's Bounce Pad Ultimate and a Nessie from the Wattson Pylon POI!

i loved the glitch with the grenade wheel where i could fly around the map for the whole game.
Respawn/EA is just a small Indy company. They will put it on the list but it is just so hard to find the time and budget to properly bug test their game when they are pumping out content like $200 generic "heirlooms" so give them some slack.

I’m trying to do it in the firing range but I can’t get it to work. Is there anymore info on what is needed. Like is a steep or shallow slope better? Does it need to hit something asap after the slope? If it slides for a while does the reaction become less intense?
it does work do it on slope connected to where you find the guns, you can punch it to make it launch you further

Whenever i get a Purple bag i always take all 3 of them and i play octane so it's a win for me i guess 😅

Yeah its an easter egg, if you grab one of those and win the match with it in your inventory, the finishing screen will have big Nessie's in front of the players. Looks pretty cool, I haven't done it but I saw someone else do it.

Great, now they might remove the Nessie..
Nah they can add properties to it like all lootable items, nothing that is lootable will bounce on an octane pad specifically like that (perfect vertical movement) which is why you need a nessie in a spot like that to do this.
Respawn would never remove nessies.
