Looks like the transmission oil seal was not replaced, which was the reason for the clutch failure (slipping) in the first place ( clutch discs appeared not worn down to the rivets, bit oil soaked). Transmission input shaft and bearing should be checked too, as excess play and wear can lead to seal failure.
thought that also that the discs were not worn .......was always told not to pull the 2 halfs together with the bolts that to use the bolts as guides only and not to force it back together .........
The engineering college he has graduated from is called "Experience". Experience is a bad teacher, first it punishes then it teaches. Huge admiration for this man.

I know well these tractors, there are yet many of them here in France (they were called "Someca" instead of "New Holland" and I have repaired many clutches on them. I don't think I am a rookie even in front of him....
But yes he is experienced, and he's doing well. And always working despite beeing 90 years old..............(is he really so old?..)
I'm surprised that these old tractors produced since 1968 are in such a good condition. Some years ago our french farmers were not so careful with their Someca's.

Dada ji you got to be kidding me, what I mean he's 90 year old still have a work capacity better than many young mechanics I bet, eye visibility strength is phenomenal dada and well known in how to dis-assemble parts and to reinstall them back, that's where experience of years come in frame and perfection too, DIL SE SALUTE h DADA G ko, much appreciated 👍 🙏
If he started work at 10 years old that means hes got 70yrs experience. I like the way hes rejected the use of speeding up with a powertool. His favourite old spanner does well 🙏❤️🙏 So, that means that this could be the 840th time that hes done this job at one a month. Or, if hes done one a week thats his 3,360th clutch!!
El montaje del volante en el torno para ser desvastado... es clave. El jovencito no tomó medidas para obtener un ángulo ''cero'' de la superficie del plato.... solamente lo hizo a ''ojo''. Imposible que haya quedado correcto y nivelado el desvastado. Cuando lo pongan en marcha producirá vibraciones mientras se suelta el pedal del embrague.

How about cleaning the crap out the bell housing ,cleaning and greasing the rusty release bearing, greasing the splines on the input shaft and greasing the input shaft end where it goes into the crank bearing before putting it back together
His job was to work on the clutch not clean the engine & parts. On construction jobs carpenters work in very trashy, crowded places , they have told me we are hired to do carpenter work, not clean floor's.To each his own.

I never saw him put a splined shaft to align the center of the clutch before sliding the tractor halves together and then pulling it together with bolts. Never use bolts to pull a clutch together. It should slide right together by hand.

Why wasn’t the outside clutch plate change as well I have only changed single disk clutch before so this is all new to me grate video
the outside one is the pto clutch and they very seldom get replaced as they do not ware out on a fiat of that size as they are over engineered for that tractor . hp ..........

Soory, but it's not a lesson. They are doing their best, they are good workers but they clean almost nothing, they never use a torque wrench when it's needed, they do their repairs on a dusty ground, and this old tractor is not complicated and easy to repair.

fiat clutch is different .........the pto clutch sits next the fly wheel and very seldom is worn ........the transmission clutch is inside the unit that was taken apart and was cleaned up on the lathe ...........

I can’t believe these guys don’t use ratchets.
I can imagine how much more productive they could be with flex head ratchets and swivel sockets. Maybe such things get clogged and jam up from working on the dusty ground.
