Widmark had a cool 7 barreled flintlock that could take down as many mexican soldiers as he had barrels ! If he was damn lucky !
Oh and there's John "Pappy" Ford! A penny for his thoughts! When he heard Duke was making a movie down in Texas. He showed up unannounced to show Wayne how it should be done. Duke sent him out to shoot landscapes that were never used in the film.
