Yes!!
Please
Yes!!!
Thank you so much. I'm dealing with this right now. I really have hope now.
Thank you so much! I just got a 4 year old Pom and she had been shaved. I have been so worried that she will never grow her hair back right. I am going to try all of these things! 💕✨
Thank you so much for this I did the same thing with the haircut with my Pom 😢 I have hope too
Omg thank you so much I took my baby to the groomer and they shaved him down and I’ve been freaking out trying to grow his hair back, THANK YOU for this ❤️🙃
Update: 5 months later and my baby is growing his hair back, his hair has come back ALOT but he still has a small patch on his mid back, hind legs. And front chest. But they’re coming in slowly. We’ve been consistent with the powder and gel, not so much the food because he’s picky. Thank you for this!
You are welcome! Momo’s hair has fully grown back! Try my tips, and I hope your fur baby will soon be fluffy again😊
Same just happened to my 4 month old puppy😢 I’m sooooo upset
TRIM fur from ends, like you trim human hair, never shave double layer fur coat dogs near the skin/hair root. There are many breeds that have double coat fur.
What’s the name of the powder please 🙏
Thank you so much!! He looks just like my dog!!!! Omg 🥺🥺🥺
Thank you so much. I'm going to try it on my pomeranian ❤
Hope to hear some good news from you 🐶
I recommend to also add fish oil or omega 3 oil from the brand Native Pet. it helps a lot with coat and skin.
Thank you for sharing 🫶🏻
Thanks for this video 🙏
OMG! I have been struggling with my Pomeranian since she got a skin bacteria and loss all her hair. I will try the suggested products. Thank you 🙏
Which dog food from justfoodfordogs did you buy please?
@@dark_shadow_wolfxx9606 we stuck with the chicken and rice option
thanks so much i will try it i hope it work for my dog :)
Thank you so much! 🎉
Very helpful. Thank You
Just ordered the powder off Amazon .. thanks
Do you have the link for the fur and coat supplement as I can't seem to find it x
i cannot thank u enaugh, first time i watch the vedio i dont believe that much but i give it a try and really every word u said is true...i try the same products for more than 6 months and my pomeranian hair came back to life...she was skinny before and now full of hair,,, super thank u for the advice.
We shaved our long coat gsd in summer as well but it's been months since that but there's been a MAJOR change in his coat ever since. He had very dense and long fur but now his fur is much shorter and it's not growing back.
It happened to Momo as well, but his coat looks much shiny now. Nutrition plays a big role (excluding the fact that the dog’s bloodwork is healthy).
I have a pomrenion her coat is not good at 9 months age and her coat is not fully grown can you share till what age should I wait her coat to fully.grow
Do u think it will work for Yorkies?
Hi there i have the same problem as you same dog same problem can you send me a link of where you bought there items i much appreciate, i cant find it on Amazon im going to try some pet stores tomorrow thank you
If your Pom has hair loss pls make sure your vet does not overlook the possibility of diabetes. My vet kept telling me it was a skin issue but once she was finally diagnosed and started insulin, her hair grew back crazy fast.
I know this vid is about growing hair back after being shaved so may or may not be relevant. My vet thought that bc she had been shaved, that was preventing her hair growing back. He was wrongggg
Great tip! Thanks for sharing. We took Momo to see two different vets and they both ran all the necessary tests. They couldn’t find anything wrong 😩 but you are right! For some other cases, it could be diabetes
Please link????
@chloenne Was specific Just Food for Dogs recipe did you use?
Chicken and rice. Momo likes the beef recipe too.
I rescue a pomeranian puppy. She was badly tangled. I took him to the groomer, and I specifically requested a short cut but not shaved. But when I picked up my dog (he was shaved 😭) . I got angry and disappointed at the groomer. I even complained, the groomer just said “don’t worry it’s grow” like it wasn’t such a big deal.
Now I am trying to grow his hair by giving him fish oil. And I am trying to search more vids. Thank you for making this video. I was a bit hopeless yesterday. I am also scared he would get alopecia because if the short shaved from the groomer.
Don’t believe the groomer. They tried to find excuses for themselves. If you are in the US, I would recommend you to try Just Food for dog, because it’s real food with vet formulated nutritional powder. I fed momo jjfd and the powder I mentioned in the video, and I saw a significant improvement. I still do. It takes time and patience. Don’t give up 😊I hope to hear updates from you. Hope your pom recover soon ❤️
@@Chloenne My Pom’s hair has grown. I can see the difference. I think in just a couple more months it will be even better. I am so happy. 😁 ❤️
@@serinao9722 I am so happy to hear that 😭😭❤️❤️
This is my understanding of this breed, if they carry the gene for alopecia they may never get their hair back (since shaving accelerated the process) but if your baby doesn't have this gene it can take up to 3 year to fully grow his full coat and under coat
W❤ow! cute
Outer fur doesnt constantly grow, it has seasons. So maybe if u just waited the result couldve been the same
omg same thing happened to my dog pomeranian 3 months old.. im first time fur parent.
I found out Pomeranians go threw a balding phase around 4 months old . But his hair has grown back already . Thankfully… I heard it’s not good to trim them the first 2 yrs of life as it could trigger Alopecia.
It depends. Some Pomeranians may have the balding phase without shaving, but I don’t see it happening too often. If I didn’t shave my Pomeranian, he wouldn’t have the balding phase because he had lots of hair as he grow up. I took him home when he was 3 months old, and he had a LOT of hair at the time lol so I think trimming is ok but definitely not shaving because their baby hair is still growing at the early age. Diet and the quality of their dog food are the key. This is the most important lesson I learned after helping my Pomeranian to grow his hair back.
I’ve heard the same thing …..Poms go through what they call the “Pom uglies” when they see young. I’ve also heard that it damages their coat if they are shaved when young
Hello firstly thnk to your special video for pom moms. Could you please tell me how long we should give these supplements? For ex. If our pom get well are we still going to use them? Thnk youu
It’s ok to continue use it. I still use this supplement combo for Momo’s hair
Hi huge fan I live in Michigan. What advice would you give me to try to find a pomeranian? What's my best route thank you so much
DM me on my instagram. I am happy to share my breeder info with you
@thechloenne
The same thing happened to my pomeranian 😢
Don’t lose hope. Try the methods I mentioned 😊 hope your puppy have a fast recovery ❤️🩹
Thank you so much this feedback helped me so much ❤️ 😊
And also when we went to the vet they said that he has alopecia 😢
Could you please recommend the best food brand for my 5 year old Pomeranian? He’s now on Hills Science Plan lamb&rice. He also had some teeth extracted. I think he doesn’t really like his food as he’s not really eating the normal grams of food it says on the back. He’s eating less. I’ve heard that Hills is really bad and has bad ingredients as well as Royal Canin. I want to switch him on Wellnes Core small breed Adult Ocean as i’ve searched online the best food for pomeranins and it brought me to Wellness. What do you think? I really would like your help as I don’t know what to do. I went to the dermatologist with him and he has bit problems with his coat,(bit of falling). He said Hills is fine but the researches online say it’s really bad. What do you feed your dog?😄 I also want to try it with my dog
Please get back to me. Thank you!
I’ve been feeding Momo with Just Food For Dog for 2 years and never changed his food. I don’t think I would ever go back feeding him dry food. After I switched to Whole Foods based diet for Momo, I saw a significant improvement in Momo’s health. If you don’t have Just Food for Dog near you, maybe try Farmer’s Dog? I never try it, but I heard some reviews on this brand too. But, if you’ve been giving Hills/Wellness for your dog and there is no improvement, you should try the two whole food based dog food
Maa as ybe you are responsible ? When you own an animal you can maybe take informations ? Or you consider he is an object ?
Do you give Mom the powder daily? x
Yes! Everyday for 12 months, also changing to real food is also important too! I don’t feed momo the powder now since he is a fully fluffy boy now. But I still keep feeding him JFFD :)
If it’s a Pomeranian it might be going through the “pom uglies” and will take a solid year to even two years to have a mature coat.
God gives second chances ! He cares about every single thing in our lives and pet's Iives. 😊☝️🙏💕
Did momo have flaky skin while he had hair loss?
Yes. The symptoms improved after I switched to JFFD with fish oil and vitamin B drops
My Mochi's back fur is not growing after many times of shaving, No more shaving
Yes definitely a lesson learned 🥲
Your video is helpful. My suggestion would be to make it shorter. I felt it took several minutes to get to the point of what your talking about. I see this on MANY you tube videos. I end up fast forwarding to the information I'm interested in,
I was thinking about suing the groomer
That’s a bit much in my opinion
Again owner who has no idea about dogs... You should NEVER shave a douple coated dog! It hurts me to see people who get a "cute fashion accessory" (dog) and they have NOT done their research about the breed or dogs in general...
- In a double coat, the undercoat works like insulation, helping to keep the dog cool.
- There are muscles in the dog's skin that help raise guard hairs (the harsher outer coat of a double-coated breed,) and allow for the heat to dissipate off the dog's skin. When that hair is removed it changes the way air flows over the dog's skin. This is how shaving a double-coated dog can make a dog hotter.
- Shaving a double coat can also do long-term damage. When it is shaved down to the skin, the undercoat hair will grow back faster, and sometimes will crowd out the slower-growing guard hairs. This can change the texture and color of a dog's coat and make it appear patchy and unattractive.
Please RESEARCH before doing stuff like this... You chose to share this video in social media giving others the idea that this is ok.
In short words PLEASE do not do this to your pomeranian or in that mater ANY douple coated dog, thanks!
Never ever don't shave your pomeranian and do not let do it groomer - . -
