And to this day, its still the best WWE game they ever made. I remember when the very first trailer of HCTP has arrived on WWE's website. It was something else. The graphics, combat system, huge roster and many more. It was a revolution. I was in high school and everyone were talked about it because it looked so cool.
I remember thinking splitting their head was such an awesome thing (it is) other games had done it before it and such..but I didn't know of them at the time.

I have never played smackdown hctp or sym.. I grew up with GameCube so I had WrestleMania 19 and Day of Reckoning 1 & 2. Those games were so fucking amazing. I spent 100s of hours playing them.

Which is why even though it’s amazing people are bringing back moves from newer releases to update moves like the Rock Bottom, Chokeslam from Hell, and Angle Slam it doesn’t quite work because the sell animations going forward have been extremely toned down for “realism” I hope a remastered version takes this into account

Hey, I would like to also point out a little nugget of knowledge and that's if you are creating a superstar and you want to have the leg drop that he does to Buh Buh Ray Dudley you have to use Undertakers moveset which will automatically make it available. Plus, you might have that double chokeslams as well.

even in wwe svr06-11 u can counter reverse tag team moves Either into a double chokeslam,suplex,ddt or clothesline

Yep just saw it the double chokeslam is Bubba or d-von moveset when they grapple they do it. Again sounds dumb but the game has TAG TEAM MOVES YOU DO that causes you to get hit i dont remember if it actually damaged you or the opponent or why itsike that
