I just quite recently discovered your channel and also commented to your diptique vid. I like how you review the niche houses which are not on hypetrain as well. I remember tea for two from back in my student days, where I couldn‘t afford fragrances. I remember loving it, thanks for bringing it back to my memory. Now that I have finished my studies I probably will buy it 7 years after first smelling it :)

I love l'Artisan parfumeur Tea for two, Maison Margiela Under the lemon tree, Guerlain Teazzurra and Body shop Fuji green tea.
They are usually nice for Spring or Summer ! 😊

I was hoping you might be able to suggest a fragrance that would capture my memories of drinking milk tea while living in Japan. I remember the use of black tea (most commonly Darjeeling with a delicate floral scent), which was steeped in milk and water before being sweetened with simple syrup, honey, or kukoto (a more smoky and earthy sweetener).

For the earl grey scent i would recommend the Earl Grey & Cucumber of Jo Malone, which is a pure, citrus, crispy Earl Grey scent. I also have beautiful experience with Roger and Gallet with the Fleur d’Osmanthus, which is a warm, oriental, fresh osmanthus scent. This is also my first scent and i bought it blindly. And it turned out much better than i expected. I have tried a lot osmanthus scent, but no scent gave me the feeling that i have had with this scent.

Interestingly I tried the Tea For Two only a few days ago, and it totally reminded me of Tobacco Vanille! They are so similar. But still a gorgeous scent. I liked it straight away. X

Recently started delving into tea fragrances and the two I’m loving are from Floraïku, Between Two Trees and One Umbrella For Two.

Hi Josephine, I share your love for tea fragrances. My favorite is Nishane Oolong Cha. There’s something uplifting in tea fragrances that just invigorates you!

Some beautiful tea scents I love are Replica Tea Escape (different with a rice not), L’Artisan The Pour Un Ete, and Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. All very different to one another.

Excellent stuff. The Noir 29 and a few others you mention there are really great. My personal faves are Tea for Two which I’m wearing right now :), Anick Goutal Duel (so good for spring summer) and Margiela Tea Escape which I never see mentioned much, its quite unique irs like that brown rice green tea you can buy loose, with a touch of jasmine and milkiness to it. Check it out.

Oolong Infini is the best! It has that fresh scent but not one of those stringent ones that we sometimes associate with “fresh”. It actually has a cozy feel to it..Almost like a milk tea.
I still think the finest tea fragrance is Bvlgari's Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge (an Olivier Polge creation, if I remember rightly). I've had 160 perfumes over the years and a relatively modest 21 have made it to a second bottle (or more!) and Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge is one of those, along with another Bvlgari with some tea in it - Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, which is a Darjeeling tea (along with papyrus, amber and bergamot in the notes). Both are extremely elegant.
Winter palace is a WOW head turning Scent for sure !

Excellent list! I'm a fan of drinking tea, especially in winter time but I'd love to have a perfume that features the note of tea as a day-to-day fragrance 💜 Have you tried Bvlgari Au Thé Blanc? It's a very interesting fragrance as well but a bit softer than Au Thé Vert I think 😊

Hi I like tea fragances for spring or summer , there is one I like a lot its fig tea parfums de nicolai , althoug he has fig it's a beautiful fragrance , great video as always ! 😁👏

Roget et gallet FEUILLE DE TE is one of my top 5 fragrances! I don’t understand why it’s not more popular!! It’s hard to find but I discovered it in a French pharmacy in Southern France.
I love L'artisan's Tea for Two sooo much but am intrigued by Memo's Winter Palace and also by Kedu Sesame which sounds like Japanese Genmaicha (roasted rice tea) which I love to drink and also has a Mate tea base. I'm interested in the new S.E. Asian perfume house Re:Classified's Madame de Pompadour's Tea Cup, Nishane's Wulong Cha, Ormaie's Les Brumes. I also NEED to buy Angela Ciampagna's Liqou (for Licorice tea scent) or Kanat (for Saffron Tea scent.). L'artisan's Noir Exquis would be great for a coffee scent too to mix it up 😉
I have Givenchy Ange ou Demon Le Secret, Bvlgari Au The Bleu and Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and White Tea... but I get a lot of vanilla tea scent from Zara Rich Warm Addictive also...

Knowing your taste in smell you will also like nishane oolang chai. It's a great blended smell
You should check out J-Scent Roasted Green Tea if you haven't. It's a fun green tea that goes from authentic roasted tea leaves to green tea ice cream. Like one of those mochi ice cream balls.

L'Occitane did amazing white tea and green tea fragrances back in the mid 2000s
I just bought a bottle of winter palace and ordered a sample of jasmin rouge. I would like to get a chance to try tea tonic as well. Btw, I'm still hoping for your video on Memo house 🥺

I really loved the EDT The vert&Bagarde by L'Occitane. Unfortunately, can't find it anywhere... Do you know if they stopped making it, and if so- is there something simillar you recommend?
A great tea fragrance I recommend By Kilian Bamboo Harmony.

I love Bvlgaris eau thé rouge. Sadly it’s discontinued. Do you happen to have a recommendation? I can’t find anything I love like that one

Josephine, I have also an entreaty. I would like to know "rice" fragrances, and "grape" fragrances. These are the notes I encountered in antiperspirants 😳, and I received compliments for wearing them - they felt very comfortable, creamy and pleasant. I know you have mentioned Affiniscence Santal Basmati, but there must be more of them. I scanned Fragrantica, but it didn't help much.... It seems these notes are rather rare. Thank you ❤️

@@jusderose Thank you, Josephine. I find these notes really hard to find. I actually happened to see one perfume from The House of Oud with grape note, but I don't remember its name. Also I would welcome some "quince" notes... We have a quince tree in our garden and that is a very fragrant fruit. I think it is in BDK Pas Ce Soir, but the perfume is not very interesting for me, so we have to search further...
I love Tea for Two but I’ll also recommend ED White Tea 🍵
