i had this crazy dream.
the kind of dream that makes you feel what you've felt in the dream after you've woken up for quite some time.(adventurous, clever, whatever honestly.)
during this dream, the girl that i've liked for the past many years was standing in a beautiful dress with the boyfriend she has now. at what seemed to be a wedding in the future i have no idea what it was. but her and her boyfriends' friends were all around watching and looked happy for them. and so was i. this girl that i liked forever was everything that i've wanted. we had short conversations every once and a while, often one of us smiled. im a quiet person, often regretted that. you'd think i'd be jealous or sad but no, i was happy for her. this whole time i was smiling, i couldn't stop myself. it was then that she walked away from him, took my hand, pulled me over, and kissed me. it looked like he knew what was going on. everyone else was surprised. somehow she knew? i don't remember what happened after.
i know it's just a fucking dream but it felt so real. the feeling i felt the whole day was love. and this song reminds me of this dream. thats why i love this song.

shadow hunters brought me here the ultimate scene been waiting 2 seasons for something as good as that it topped the kiss lol
At first I found the visuals of this music video weird and almost offputting but the more I listened to the lyrics the more I understood that the visuals coupled along with the vocals are a depiction of the complexities of the human mind and how it has so many layers to it. Some of the animations almost don't seem to make sense at all but thats the point. From the outside looking in at someone you will never be able to fully understand them and all of what they are. The video is intentionally made trippy because it's meant to show how the human soul has so many facets to it. Some make sense but some can't even be understood by ourselves because that is the human condition and we are complex beings. From the atoms that make up our bones to the tissues that connect the very fibers of our muscles the intricacies of all that we are seem overwhelming to look at at first. But thats okay because there's beauty in what we cannot understand and the video shows us this with the abundance of beautiful colors in the animations. Some animations at certain points seem "ugly" to us, contorted and weird. But again that's the point. All that we are and all that we ever will be is exceedingly beautiful. Whether it be the energy we bring to a room or the darker parts of ourselves we don't like and hide from the world. You are worthy of everything. And there is worth in all of you. Even the ugly parts :)
