Jubilee Crescent Springs into Action I Safe And Happy Places

Jubilee Crescent, a small estate in Sarn with 143 homes, faced issues of fly-tipping, arson, and concerns over residents' mental health and wellbeing. In response, we launched the "Jubilee Crescent Springs into Action" initiative, focusing on community-driven solutions and environmental restoration.
Key Actions:
We held community consultation events and partnerships.
Organised practical interventions like skip days and litter picking.
Engaged local school children and residents.
Tree planting and raised beds with native pollinators.
Impact:
Increased use and enjoyment of open spaces.
Improved safety and community connections.
Significant reduction in litter and fly-tipping.

Recognised by the Chartered Institute of Housing for best practices, this project has revitalised our community.
