I was bullied in school, 21 years ago. Bullying will always be there, the way we can change it, is our reaction to it. Being bullied, or being the bully is never ok! And taking things to the extreme, as described in this song, is not the way to go. Be the smart kid, be the happy kid, be the weird kid, be the inclusive kid...just don't be the mean kid. This song is good, but it has a deeper meaning, and a message of awareness. Look, listen, and be that friend, don't be that bully that pushes the quiet kid over the edge.

I was a very nerdy kid so the "tough" kids targeted me. I was also very apathetic so I didn't give them what they wanted, a reaction. When they realized that they left me alone. Later one of them actually gravitated to me and we became friends. I realized that they were all very insecure, came from broken homes and bullying was how they tried to get some control in their life.

For all those who reckon that the song is quite dark and all that, this is for them.
I may be wrong, but the lyrics are about the 'viewpoint' of a child who haven't had much in his life and has been less fortunate than other kids (perhaps had a father who abuses him too), he seems the other kids enjoying life and hates being in the position he is right now. So he grabs a gun and well, you know the rest ;)
