The anthem of Krasnodar Krai is the official anthem of the Krasnodar Krai in Russia and the former Kuban People's Republic (1917). It was adopted as the anthem today by the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Krai on March 24, 1995. The author of the words is Konstantin Obraztsov, who wrote them while on the Russian-Turkish front in 1914. The music stems from a folk song.
This is the lyrics of the anthem sung in Kuban Balachka, a dialect of the Don Steppe regions as well as the Ukrainian borderlands. The text in Balachka is also the same text when sung in Ukrainian, arranged by I. Samoylov.
