Sam Snead...in 1963 I took an informal group lesson from Sam Snead, I was 15. This was at Whitemarsh CC at the 1st (I think) Whitemarsh Open. The next day I did the same with Gary Player. The tips and inspiration I got from those two has lasted a lifetime. They were (are) my golf heroes.

I love the scramble format. Each week I play one round scramble to get warmed up and one normal round back to back. I play the best ball scramble by myself since I don’t have any friends. It’s still the most fun. My best 2 ball-one-man scramble score is a 59 on a par 72 and I’ll tell ya, the last few holes I was pumped going for that sub 60. Never been been happier on the course. Obviously the scramble score doesn’t count for anything, but who cares. I’m never playing on tour. I love the fun and excitement of it!

Quick tip for the both when u want to take an easier swing or hit a knockdown shot. Don’t slow down on the down swing u will chunk it 95% of the time. I suggest using your normal swing speed but take about a 3/4 swing allowing u to keep the same speed and play the shot u want. Other wise great video like always hope to see you guys play some golf in the South Jersey area

Best ball scramble is confusing lol. Best ball I think play your own ball and Best score plays. Scramble you play best shot. Great playing though!
