Kapsberger - Early music series

During the time of COVID I spent 9 months learning to play this giant instrument created in Italy called Chitarrone or Theorbo.

Hello!. What's the difference between this instrument and archlute? Beautiful sound and little piece of music. Congratulations.

Hello, the tuning is completely different even though the bass strings are in the same range.... .
This instrument is played with single strings while the Archlute is played with double strings.
