Hello. I'm from Ukraine and we have a fuel crisis right now. I'm wondering if you only filled 5 liters because the fuel is scarce or because it's expensive? We sell no more than 20 liters in one tank.
@@ticholoman7584 Thanks for the question, it's actually a quite nice story, the previous owners were, well, let's be polite and call them haulers, whom they were interested in maximising the loading capacity of the car for their merchandise, especially beneath the boot and inside the floor pans where it's hidden from curious eyes, so they've ditched the 'enourmous' 60L fuel tank and boxed the underside to make way for their business goals and specially crafted a smaller tank that would fit directly under the filler door, in place of the tubing from the old fuel tank, replacing and routing the fuel pump and lines along the way. And they've done such a good job with the modifications that it never bothered me, a refill is very affordable that way, and it keeps a conscious mind on trip range 😅.
@/k/onnoisseur I love it myself, it's packed with storage places, like the trunk is lifted a bit so it can pack more beneath, and the front bumper has a integrated box alongside of it, moulded just neat to fit. It's got much practicality and a great story, it's destiny was long decided against it when it got modified for contraband, but no matter the odds it kept itself working and lived to be saved, I had no ideea of its past when I got it even if it was in bits and having the cut floor hatches open and flooded inside (they did such a neat job that the welded floor was water tight), yet it drove away on its wheels with all the trimmings and bits inside and been running since with normal maintenance 😃. I even found some leftover cigarette boxes inside cramped spaces on several instances, the last time was 2 months ago when I opened everything up for a rust check after 4 years.
@Zaydan Naufal It is mainly about the economy and independence. If Poland adopted the euro, we would be in line with the decisions of the union authorities. It was because of the euro that Greece had a crisis because they did not have physical money in the bank and the Union did not want to print them, which caused many Greek companies to go bankrupt on purpose. Unia.A Poland has noticed what the union is doing and so far we are not planning a euro vogule for the security and independence of money from Brussels :)

This is one benefit of producing and refining your own products. There's no real benefit to having high prices locally if the people can't afford it. It's best to keep if cheap for the citizens to enjoy.
Here in Poland for 20,30 litres of diesel I paid 150 zł (35,12 USD) last time I fueled. Before the Russia-Ukraine war, it was like 6,40 zł (1,50 USD) for 1 litre and now it's almost 8 zł (1,87 USD) which is insane.
