I feel like brook is more like semi-immortal. I think he is more immune to almost all mortal ways to die due to him being a skeleton. He is immune to poison, can't drown when stuck in the water (I think this was shown a few times if i remember corectly), can simply put himself together when losing his head and other bones., and can repair broken bones with milk. i think being a skeleton gives him a enhanced form of longevity as he can't realy age physicaly. But i don't think he is truely immortal, as he did say that he dies if his spine gets smashed.

Authors ,especially authors of long-running series and that have health problems such as Oda, have a back-up plan for cases like that. They usually have a back up writer to pass the scripts to or tell them what is supposed to happen so they can continue it.
so many people theorize Luffy will die at the end of One Piece. I go with the theory that Chopper will save him as this fits the dream fullfillment aspect that we've been going with the entire run of the series.
It's one or the other...let's see which way Oda decides to go

And law sacrifices himself so luffy could go on living

These are three things so I think the one pieces 1) gol Roger’s straw hat when he was 18 years old passed down to shanks passed down to Luffy. 2) a crown that has a skull in the middle red Ruby eyes and a yellow crystal in the schools mouth and on the back, it probably would say good job you found the one piece from Gol .D. Roger 3) there is no one piece probably gol Roger said that to make the crowd happy and never give up on their dreams. Those are the three things I think

Let me correct you a bit when liffy uses Gear two his body uses a lot of blood pressure and vetimens and a lot of food related stuff and that's why he's always hungry and when he uses gear three the debuff for it is that he's ody turns into a chibi for ten minutes
Choppers doctor thought it would help him, then he realized that he was wrong and made sure chopper knew that he didn't die because of him.

fun fact about the narrator of one piece ( sub) Mahito Oba is smoker's second voice in the sub. This is just my theory but I believe it's actually smoker who is narrating the story or better yet Pandaman, since the narrator also voice acts for Pandaman.
