Im gunna get this out of the way right here. This is why the Cowboys are and will always be Americas team, regardless of how bad they are. Last season (2012), 4 of the top 6 highest rated primetime games were games the COWBOYS played in. The franchise is worth 2.1 BILLION DOLLARS, 2nd in ALL SPORTS behind MANCHESTER UNITED. The Cowboys are the only team that can have 8-8 seasons and still get the most primetime games. The Dallas Cowboys are America's team, and that isnt changing for awhile

They did go to the championship game. Win or lose thats more than we can say about a few other teams who didn't even make it that far. Considering it was a crippled defense, shit OL, and injuries everywhere it should really say something that beyond all of that Dallas still made it to the championship game didn't they? Dallas was #3 in passing yards and #6 for total yards. Mediocre? Average? I'd say that's ATLEAST above average. You people are smoking crack.

The Dallas Cowboys will always b American's Team for the reason y is because of the fan base. They have the most fans in the U.S and thats y their called American's Team. The only way that goes away is when every Cowboy fan passes away but what's not to say they passed on the silver & blue DNA to their off spring.
