My life, wealth and children are dedicated for the love of Mowla. No one can separate Imam from the Murids. 12.5% is nothing, I am willing to sacrifice much more than that for Allah's appointed Imam. Allah's command is to follow the prophet and his progeny and whoever does it is guaranteed the path to success. Money will not come with me, but the submission to the will of Allah (love and obedience of the Messenger and Imam) will surely be with me on the day of judgement.

I'm new to this subject, but if Karim Aga Khan is an Imam and has been in this role for a long time - then he does represent another "link," as you say, on the chain of Imams. His very position as such in reality is proof of his identity. Isn't it so? Imam is a spiritual guide. Hasn't Karim Aga Khan delivered spiritual guidance? That's the ultimate criteria for evaluating someone in a position to provide spiritual guidance - is whether they have been successful in providing it. And if they have, then they are a "descendent" regardless of whether you can establish some direct lineage by birth. The lineage in this case is established by the very fact of man's BEINGNESS in the world. If he was not born to be an Imam and was not approved by the Lord Almighty for such a position, then he would never be able to be an Imam and occupy such position of immense responsibility.

In our sunni tradition, that are more credible than any others, the claims of Ali (ra) being the khalifa of the prophet didn't began to spread until the first fitna that killed Othman (ra).

This is not my faith nor did I know anything about it...until I found a job post for Aga Khan. I research before I apply and lo' and behold this is one of the post that came up. This is so gooood, like a drama series. Great job...I'm going to enjoy this entire series. BTW, I just looked Aga Khan up...he doesn't look "imanish" he just looks like a rich white dude with an accent. Hmmm, the 1% elite through 'faith'...well their hands are everywhere why not in faith practices. Thanks for sharing your story and the story of so many who can't speak.

In a yogic tradition, which Isamilism is too, a disciple sees brahma(the creator) & vishnu(creation) in his/her guru. It is nothing wrong and new. It's yogic tradition and Islam is a yogic tradition also, because even Allah is a deity A-illah which means "The Illah".

Very detailed and educational. I like that it does not promote hate. I like how respectfully you address everyone. I am 56 and I left Ismailism when I was 18. My quest was to find God and I realized at that young age that the Agha Khan can’t be God. I feel all human beings have a right to choose their own path religion is personal. It is between me and my God. Coming from an Agha Khani family these videos have been extremely educational. Thank you for making the effort and putting this together.

Amazing series. Just to clarify, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had appointed Imam Ali (AS) as His Rightful Successor in front of more than 100,000 Muslims returning from the Hajj Pilgrimage, at the site of Ghadeer Khumm, in His Final Sermon
