Stuck Vario Convertible Top 😢 2013 Mercedes SL550 🤔 Gold Element Autoworks Diagnosing & Analysis

A client brought over a 2013 SL550 with a stuck convertible top. It is stuck open and will not close. Have you ever experienced this problem before? What was the solution?

Lever up is to put the top down. Lever down is to put the top up. You're pulling the lever up but the top is already down.

Check the wiring in the trunk hinge. You need to slice open the loom and you’ll see the wires cut at the bend. It’s usually the right side hinge

Brend, check the little switch for the inner trunk cover. It's on the right when you open the trunk.
Be careful your city may fine you for operating a Mercedes dealership in a residential zone 😂
