One of my favorite Sting songs....This is what's called in show business a "trunk song". It was originally written for his Broadway show The Last Ship and then taken out for creative reasons. He personally loves it. You can tell by the way he offers it.....
Amazing song with a great Sting voice. Sting's magic is brilliant.
It's a strongest proof that you shouldn't listen just to hits like Shape of my Heart, Englishman, Fragile, Fields of gold
Great song, pleasure to play and to listen
The Night the Pugilist Learned How to Dance - also great piece of charm of this album
I searched long and hard for a proper adjective to describe his voice - I'm an English teacher - All I could muster was 'smoky and well-lived in.'
Beautiful and minimalistic melody. Sting knows how to do it!
Beautiful song
deep - beautiful - brilliant - that's our Sting
Sublime ❤
The one and only Sting
For whatever reason , this makes me think of the William Butler Yeats poem , "When You Are Old And Gray"
one of the best ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sublime..!

Olavo Luisatto ,merci ! je vais bien ne vous en faites pas cher Olavo !Beijo :)
Sencilla, profunda , simplemente una de las mejores
Crazy..... I can't sleep tonight.
I am a singer and I am in a very dark period of my life. The song is perfect for my expectations. I dream to sing this song with Sting but maybe it will never happened… maktoub.
ITS ABSOLUTELY SUPERIOR!!!!!
Non bisogna mai proporre ad una persona di amarti se non è nelle sue intenzioni
My love
❤❤❤ my love
💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
What is the story of this song? Beautiful song.
The plot of his The Last Ship has an older character falling in love with a younger woman...so much so that he makes a unique request.
Kurt Elling version
I hate to Havelock my eyesight on my life, my life was sarrowful and my mom was in constant misery. Now she got new arrangements with some guy i shamefully hate, let my anger uppon him, i miss my dad so much, i wish she would have tryied to loved him instead, rearrange her heart and mind. for i can't stand the introder. I know in my heart, that it a'int love. Just practical arrangement.
An old man who wants a young lady to accept to live with him. Tragic...
Brilliance in the way he delivers this song... Which shows his mastery of music.
