    Oh I needed this video on Friday! Took me an hour to choose between soft and Max! But I think I made the right choice.

    I've ordered this a few times now and love how it prints on shirts. However, it seems like my digital files always require artists help. How do I avoid this in my design? I'm using illustrator and doing all vector artwork. I'd like to avoid the extra $22 fee each time I order.

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey linz8787, To avoid the artist help flags, be sure to save out your file in PDF or AI format, design in Illustrator at the correct print size and ensure any fine detail is at least 1.29 pt. or .018". Avoid any drop shadows or blur effects on the edges of your designs too- and if you're exporting to a raster format out of illustrator be sure to turn anti-aliasing off or set it to "none".
      We have a blog post all about the "heat map" proofing step that may be able to help more here too: blog.transferexpress.com/what-is-the-heat-map-in-easy-view-online-designer/

      @@transferexpress Thank you. I will look into it more. I do what you've suggested here and it still seems to get flagged.

      Why do we have to pay for artwork directly from your site to be fixed?

    If I upload a vector that I’d like twice on the gang sheet, once in white and another copy in black, is it okay to upload it in one color (say black) and then once its duplicated, use the color button in easy view online designer to change the duplicate to white? Or should I upload a separate vector file where I changed the vector to white prior to uploading it to easy view designer? I hope that question makes sense 🤦🏻‍♀️ It seemed way less complicated in my head

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před rokem

      Hey Emily! Not complicated at all.
      For UltraColor Max you can do it either way- If it's just white or black there wont be any issues. Our black color in the designer is a rich black, so it's nice and dark and vibrant. Now if you were using specific colors, you would be better Keeping your native values from Illustrator/Corel.
      Money saving tip: If you want a white version and a black version of the same art with UltraColor Max transfers add them to your cart separately. Since it's priced per square inch, you'll pay for the space between images with a gang sheet. Adding them to you cart as a separate white/black transfer will be a lower cost and they'll still come on the same sheet, but we're paying for the space between images. I hope that's not too confusing- there's some instances where gang sheets make sense and may be easier to submit artwork in lower quantities, but since we removed the minimum order value ($25) requirement there are no minimums for artwork quantities and if I can save you a little bit of cost with that tip, it's more profit in your pocket!

    Do I just Control+C to Control + V for copying and pasting multiple images of the same art?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 2 lety +1

      You bet! You can always use the copy and paste commands in the object controls in the top blue bar in Easy View Online Designer too!

    Do they feel different? Soft and Max?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 2 lety

      Hey Tee NOLA, They do feel a little different. Soft is a little bit thicker with a smooth, soft-to-the- touch matte finish. Soft also has a small clear adhesive outline that can be visible on some colors of garments. Max is very light and smooth on the garment with flexible inks that have a ton of stretch and rebound to them. It's not as matte in appearance as the UltraColor Soft, but it's not glossy by any means, it's almost satin-like in the finish.
