James is Simply Safe in the lead after this challenge. Only guy to get a v8, jet boat, and had a flawless launched and recovery of his unit.

i had same results judging only on the in and out of water and it was neck-n-neck-n-neck. if george would have stuck the landing they would be in first. and if alex wouldnt have stalled the vic and cleet trimmed the motor...suprisingly team jackstand had zero issues with the ramp.
scoring i give team jackstand 4.5/5, team cleetcleet 3.5/5 and team jorge 3/5.

Even though James boat broke down the unloading/loading was the Smoothest.
How can you not be smooth when you're pushing the boat up the trailer though? Going on the trailer assisted should automatically be worse than the other two that did it themselves.

They didn't load the boat on the trailer correctly. It was too far back.
I would be surprised if they didn't notice, and towed it home without first putting it back in the water, and loading it on the right way..... That part was left on the editing room floor, as they used to say.

Despite the boat quitting I still give Ty and James the win. The backing down and unloading was impeccable. And despite engine failure, loading still went pretty smoothly. Cleet in second cause dragging the motor is a noob move. And ol freezer burn in last. That loading and unloading was pretty awful.

Too close to call on the contest. I want to just point out how smart Cleet is to surround himself with good “characters” that not only help him with his fleet, but also the channel. I like all his guys and I think it’s genius to include them in the vids instead of making it all about him. I don’t think most people understand how tough it is to run a BUSINESS like his with all its moving parts, let alone put out entertaining content, he and his crew are doing great!

I think the thing that really makes it, at least to me, is the fact that any one of us could equally see ourselves as the 7th person there... 1st Jackstand, good execution even under the pressure of his flywheel potentially not working and seemed to stay pretty cool about his engine and the fireballs from it
2nd: Cleetus with the strapless launch, good ramp approach, a solid runner.
3rd: was george. multiple starts, and he killed James' ice cream, at least his driver did a good job with the trailer.
Jackstand kicking the monster was probably the funniest thing I’ve seen him done, what an alpha male😂
James and ty get the win for sure. Style points, the early fire up, the save during backing, and I mean honestly who hasn't had a small fire on the boat ramp.

That stall at the end is gonna be a deduction for Cleetus' team, but based on the flawless entrance I think they still deserve 1st.
The scoring was technically on the entrance and exit, not the performance in the water, so James' team gets second.

True, but a boat getting towed in is never good at a busy boat ramp. That being said I've definitely seen a lot worse from people with a fully functioning boats. When the ramps are busy it becomes a complete clusterfuck!

@@54raceman cleet couldn't fix his trailer because he spent all his money I'm pretty sure James still has some left. But I do think cleetus should be allowed to pickup some pieces of scrap metal from around the shop and at least put some reinforcements on the trailer.

James is a full BLOWN winner and he deserves sprinkles on his ice cream. Had it running before it was in the water so he was ready to party way before and him floating down the river before everyone else, he had to wait. Taking the boat back out the water even if it wasn't running it was calm cool and collected.

@@xogmaster I doubt the BP engine weights that much more than the engine in his boat. It looks like he's currently running iron heads while that BP one likely has aluminum.
Typically when you install a new engine in a boat it’s so you don’t get stranded and that’s rarely the case with blueprint junk

The failing of the James boat was on the river, the loading went almost like they were Smooth Operators.
Unlucky for the Cleeter trailer. It'll have to endure another trip. Although if James boat gets fixed that might qualify that trailer for repairs. Save it causing another delay in the shenanigans.

James's entry was smooth and fast, he drifted away from the ramp pretty fast so didn't bother the next in line at the ramp.
The exit was the same and without the help it would still be very smooth.
Cleetus's entry was the best but they screwed it up big time by the car stalling on the ramp and having to jumpstart it.
George's entry was just not good at all. The exit also took way to long having to try the approach again.

I was starting to think the commenters had forgotten this was about awarding points because I read a bunch of comments before finding a score. I think you nailed it though, so I am going to give the guys the same score. James, Cleet, George. I do think that Cleet is going to have to allow some rule bending before the next stage, as we need all three boats in the competition to max out the enjoyment factor. Plus there is the guy's safety to consider. If James's toothless starter gear lets him down while he is side on to a big wave when they get to the ocean, then the next video he'll be staring in might be Helicopter Paramedics. Perhaps add a penalty system to the scores. James can fix his flywheel and get the timing sorted out, Cleet can make his trailer halfway roadworthy, and George can collect 5 bonus points. (Which he will lose if anyone gets their shin cut to the bone on his Roman Chariot trailer spikes.)

JAMES #1 for smoothness and also extra points for showmanship. That hot rod was fired up on the way in and off to the prom they went. Criteria was not for once they are in the water, yet. So he gets the smoothest entry and also most exciting looks and ripping noise. Cleat I was eating a sandwhich in the park as your sleeper went in smooth. That said it was not exciting. =) Also James for points with the golf commentary as Cleat and crew loads up.
After you complete the 2500 challenge, you should give each team another $500 for repairs and upgrades and do another competition.

I've got to say that James won. Smooth in, started right away, got off the trailer and despite not running on the way back they got it in by hand pretty smooth. The burnout all the way up the ramp counts for something too...
Old Cleet gets second because of the botched recovery. He was clearly in the win but snatched defeat from victory's grasp at the end.
