I keep a pen and notepad near me when watching your videos, can credit you with most of my gains in using these boxes. You're a gem Miles, thank you!!
Wow thank you Flavius. That is awesome feedback and I’m really happy to hear this! 💚
great tutorial! very helpful
Happy to hear that!
again super informative video .. i really like how you are using Arp for
creating melodies which doesn't sound like they're made with arp :-) - the trick with different arp melody on second trig, shifted to left in fill mode is pretty smart :-) 👍👍👍
Thank you Ray! That's great to hear and very happy that it's informative. :) Yeah I love the different techniques with the Digitone's arp - I don't know why but this thing brings out a lot of creativity in me and I super often get melodies with it that I really like and wouldn't have got otherwise. :)
@@MilesKvndra yeah sounds really inspiring, definitely will try to use Arp in such more creative way too ..
@@raysubject highly recommend! 🙂
Thanks for the work! Like it!!
Awesome to hear friend! You're welcome 💚
great video! thanksss :)
Thanks for watching Matias! 🙌🏻
Excellent as always 👌
Thanks dude! Very happy to hear that 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Thank you for watching jolieuke - appreciate you! :)
great video and the music is awesome :) thanks
Thank you Omni Directional! Happy to hear that you like the music in particular - the full jam will be out 24 June here on the channel. :)
Always coming with the clear and concrete tips! Really good ideas also applicable to the Analog 4 :)
Cheers Ryan! Appreciate you and it's great to hear that it translates well across different Elektron machines. 🙌🏻💚
Some really interesting insights my friend 🙏 This track of yours is just 🔥 Happy to have you featured along on this upcoming compilation ♥️ I'll have to try Step 3! This is really creative.
Cheers my friend! Proud to be featured on that compilation and I'm so looking forward to the release along with all the other great artists. 💚 Let me know how this one worked for you!
SOunds good and helpful 🙂 Thx for sharing this assisting content 🙂 Greets cya!
That's great to hear! Thank you for your feedback and great Sunday to you! 🙂🙌🏻
Very informative video! Your transitions with Elektron devices are the best I've seen, so a good person to give advice :)
Thanks a bunch dude! That's really awesome to hear from you - I really like programming transitions on these machines as it's quite hands on and the results are really cool! :)
after a little break this came in handy to refresh my skills on elektrons, thx buddy!
You're welcome dude! Sometimes these breaks are well needed but great that you are back on it. Thanks for the feedback and keep on rocking those machines! 🙌🏻
Thank you! Very very useful - Your videos on developing musical ideas into different tracks are gold. I don’t find that easy as I like to just jam so making tracks that build and work together is hard and I would like to learn this… also how to end a session. Good luck!
Cheers Pigeon! Awesome to hear that it's useful. And yeah, usually it's a progress: Like you I first start jamming around and developing ideas on different patterns and then I spend time on the refinement meaning transitions between the different ideas to create a coherent jam. :)
Hi Miles ! Cool lesson 👀 It would be interesting to see how you adjust the sound, how you make your final sounds (mastering track) on Elektron . Thank you Miles for the very valuable information ❤️❤️
Hey manoch puri, thanks a lot for that! You are welcome - And yeah I'm definitely having a video on my mastering workflow on my list (I do it in Ozone 9 Advanced) but that's definitely to come. Cheers!
@@MilesKvndra Can't wait to see this, please do share!
can you do a tutorial on the arpeggiator?
Hey man, I already did that some time ago. Please find it here: czcams.com/video/_DOHJm9k3Ok/video.html
🐯❤️
Danke dir ❤️❤️
Thanks for the video.
I have a question. Can I record automation (for a filter, for example) only for FILL section? I mean not retrig parameters per each step, exactly automation in real-time.
Hey, I think this should be possible with a little workaround: When you record automations, these are shown in the sequencer as trigless trigs (yellow trigs). If you then hold down these trigs and set them to FILL mode, they should then only play in FILL mode.
@@MilesKvndra awesome, thanks Miles for you answer and whole videos.
Transitions are the more impactful arts to master on this machines. Just beeing curious: What is the advantage of using the Fill Mode over just jumping to an intermediate pattern?
Hey Ilorenzo, that's a good question: I usually combine both meaning that I have a transition pattern to build up the initial tension and also introduce elements from the new pattern and then use the FILL mode to perform the final transition to that pattern. In this example here I just used FILL trigs to perform a transition within the pattern without needing to change patterns. this gives me more flexibility before actually changing patterns and saves some space when it comes to patterns. But you can of course also use intermediate patterns for transitions, works really well and I like to do that too. Cheers!
Hi dear Miles Thank you so much to all your videos ... Tnx ! GOOD LUCK !
You're very welcome, Cti! Thanks for the comments and all the support! 🙏🏻💚
