    Thanks for sharing your experiences with your laser. I’m sure I’m going to be learning a lot more from you once I get into doing this kind of stuff.

      No problem Jamie, the one your getting has all the bells and whistles. I’m sure you will hit the ground running.

    Good advice. If I ever get the desktop laser I want, air assist will have to be a priority!

    great way to keep soot out of your lens also. look into cloudray PVD USA made coated lens. that laser will be nice and tight with detailed work

    Thanks for the great video..
    I'm curious, why did you route the tubing to the outside of the laser vs through the internals of it?

      My only reason is because of the innards for the up down movement of the bed, I didn’t want it to wear on any of the gears so opted to move it away from them. The tubing is protected underneath the machine and that side of the laser. 2nd reason was for speed because I was dying to try it out to see if it would correct my burning issue.

    Did you do the diode addition to the solenoids, or did you buy the kit? Thanks

    Air Assist before Exhaust?

      If your questions is which to purchase first, most importantly you need exhaust to get it out of your house/garage.

    Why 2 solenoids valves?

    • @WhiteysWickedWorkshop
      @WhiteysWickedWorkshop  Před 6 měsíci +1

      As quoted from the website “ two (2) solenoids which allow Lightburn settings to control air flow for both high pressure (laser cutting) and low pressure (laser engraving). The user does not have to turn the air off when not in use because the second solenoid is turning it on and off based on your Lightburn settings.”

    The mini air assist pump on the omtech is a joke. If you buy this laser this upgraded is essential.
