I’m from Hawai’i and my Dad’s 1st Gen Tacoma had Wet Okole and all I did was sweat when I sat on them. After surfing they held dampness so after I went home and changed my shorts got wet. Yeas the smell goers away after a looooong while. Mahalo for pronouncing it correctly. FYI Okole is but/bum/backside/a$$
Hey, thanks for the real-world input! It's always great to hear from someone who's "been there, done that" because we can't learn *everything* in a quick install session. Yeah, we thought it was pretty funny that someone decided to name their seat cover company "wet a$$" 😂
Wet Okole looks like a better fit. Tiger tough looks cheap because of wrinkles. I guess Spray some 3M water resistant on the wet okole cover to also get that beading effect. I will check out both. Wet Okole is super expensive.
If you go with Wet Okole, check with them before you spray any coatings on them! They advise that leather conditioners will mess up the foam backing and that you should clean the covers with wet suit cleaner. It would suck to have brand new seat covers messed up from the spray if the neoprene reacts negatively to it.
Of course this guy is gonna knock on wet okole, because he works for tiger tough. They did not take the time to install the wet okole seat covers properly.
