    I hope that the channel playlist can create a list of the main competition years, so that when waiting for new events, it can be convenient if you have not watched previous years' events, thank you.

    Long time viewer, first time comment. Great, exciting race. I was disappointed Stephano Mesa did not land at least a 3rd place podium. In some races Stephano does not seem to keep up. 🤷‍♂
    I like many riders, but I root for Stephano among others if he is in the race.

    You will never convince me that the Ducati doesn’t have a performance advantage over the other bikes. Gets a clean holeshot from mid pack, passing everyone on the outside. Loses the front twice in turn 7 and still ran everyone down by turn 10. Open your eyes.

    Am I mistaken …?… on Ducati website it says the Pangale v2 is a 955cc engine….racing against supersports if that’s the displacement seems like a huuuuge advantage especially in torque

    • @TazawaTanks
      @TazawaTanks Před 7 měsíci +4

      In-line 4 cylinders can be up to 750cc (GSX-R 750s), triples up to 798cc, and twin cylinders up to 955cc (kind of like back in the Superbike days when in-line 4s were 750cc and twins were up to 999cc).
      “To level the playing field between the variety of machines, motorcycles with 599cc and 636cc inline four-cylinder engines will now be allowed to have aftermarket camshafts, aftermarket velocity stacks, and modified cylinder heads, which will raise their level of performance as well as their cost.
      In addition, all of the machines in the class will be subject to balancing enhancements or restrictions through the use of concession parts, torque-limiting engine maps, engine rev limits, minimum weight limits, air intake restrictors, and other methods.” ~ RRW

      @@TazawaTanks thanks … I’m newer to following Moto racing but figured it was something similar to what you’re saying….i don’t understand why the classes get divided in the way they do with all the “this bike can do this but that bike can do this….Etc” stuff instead of having classes strictly on cc size that all have to follow…like all 600’s are allowed the same add-ons/restrictions ….and all be the same engine configuration ,4 cylinders race 4 cylinders 2 race twos etc… understanding there would still need to be a range in cc’s but it could be much tighter ,ie:600-660 instead of 600- 955 with all cylinders with different requirements .

      @@vicpnut1yeah the 600 4cyl have a lot of mods they can put on, the 750s and big vtwin ducatis are more limited in power output they level it out well

      @@vicpnut1These are the same rules as World Supersport. The main reason…money (manufacturers and commercial interest). There aren’t enough manufacturers in each engine displacement category to spread it out like that. It would also make too many classes. These rules allow: Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, Ducati, Triumph, and MV Agusta to all be in the same class.

    When was this race ? Am just watching now and seems some of the “facts” are a bit dated … but , my memory being what it is (shitty) and me also just finding Moto racing on CZcams this past year ,meaning MotoAmerica , gp,wsbk,etc etc iam not clear as to standings ,names , bikes classes and all that …so maybe it is the newest race and I’m confused or mis remembering

      There’s just something about the ninja for me too. Was starting riding right around the time (I first heard/saw /rode) when the first time ninjas were on the street,around 1986….a red white and blue 1986 600 was sold around town to multiple friends of mine and I was awe struck when I rode it … my first bike was a 81 Kawasaki csr 650 which was immaculate with low miles and ripped past my buddy on his maxim 650 so Kawasaki will always have a place in my heart ♥️ 😊…..
