why didn't you use API key credentials instead of adding API Key in Basic auth password?
How did you get the assignee field to populate? I can see from your flow that assignee wasnt filled in on the 'create' jira action and neither was it in the flow as 'assign issue', super curious as the assignee action is causing me real difficultuies unless i hard code the accountid from JIRA into that field. great vid by the way, based my integration off this.
Super helpful
Thanks for this tutorial. I came here to find out how the webhook trigger is received in ServiceNow.
Just to clarify my understanding, the subflow is triggered independently, without intervention of any flow?
When ever I’m selecting create issue action, I’m getting an error that “a dynamic action error occurred”. Is there any specific reason! I’m not able to identify the issue
Thanks for sharing the Wonderful video and it helped to configure Jira integration. Now I'm facing one issue that If multiple lines are present in description then the jira ticket is failing in flow designer with error "{"errorMessages":["There was an error parsing JSON. Check that your request body is valid."]}". I can see the logs shows text in description in new lines instead of
. How we can convert the next lines to
.
I followed these steps & it shows 'A dynamic action error occurred.' in the flow designer . Is there anything that I am missing ?
Is it available in personal instance?? When I tried I was not able to get it. Even from store I was not able to install that plugin
by using this is it possible to send attachment???
When I am Updating Issue in Jira it is not updating in Servicenow
Why are there no available options when trying to select project key?
I think you're missing the output in the subprocess.
Yess
Thanks for the tutorial. Is it possible to use an existing Jira webhook in the registration process? We have a similar process that was built prior to Flow Designer. Thanks.
Hi, When I generate my API token in JIRA , i am getting a very long password which my servicenow instance password field doesnt support . How to fix this
Can I create Incident from Jira? If yes, It will helpful for us.
In my personal developer instance i do not see the "JIRA SPOKE" application , why is it so, from which version onwards is this application available? Do i also need to install some plugin for it?
Can't set up this integration with personal demo instance
did u get any idea ?why its not working in demo instance ,any other alternate way to accomplish ?
how about the comments will it be in sync?
About Servicenow to update record in jira?
my incident is not updating from Jira side. Any idea ?
How did the Token "Jira Token" get created? You said that this is built-in, but I did not see this after installing the Jira Spoke. Thanks!
go to support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-api-tokens-for-your-atlassian-account/ for your key. Then create a new token in servicenow as per these instructions docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-servicenow-platform/page/administer/integrationhub-store-spokes/task/setup-jira302-webhooks.html
Please someone tell me can you integrate comments using this method?
do you found the solution ?
@@Sathishjerk no unfortunately not, we looked at paying for third party integration tool in the end
@@dronedude9877 Thabk you 😊, plug-in name?
Hey, 1 year late, but we can definitely do that. We can use the Add Comment out of the box jira spoke action for this.
Create issue is not visible in the flow designer can someone help
Same question , can anyone help
