After 22 years in comedy, Leanne Morgan has cemented herself as a must-watch comedian.
Leanne was feeling the lure of Hollywood after graduating high school, but the idea of moving there was unheard of and too daunting for a country girl who had never been away from home. She enrolled in college at The University of Tennessee, where she graduated (by the skin of her teeth) with a degree in Child and Family Studies.
Shortly after that, she married her husband Chuck and they moved to Bean Station, TN in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
To stay busy after having her first baby, Leanne started selling jewelry at home parties. She was supposed to talk about the jewelry but instead conversed about breastfeeding, hemorrhoids and being a mama. The party guests thought that she was hilarious to the point somebody peed on a couch, and before she knew it, she was booked out a year in advance.
The jewelry company saw what was happening and asked her to speak at their sales rallies. It was there that women started saying, “you need to do stand-up!” That gave Leanne the courage to really go for it! Leanne finally had access to comedy clubs when her family moved to San Antonio in 2001, and her career in comedy quickly started to skyrocket.
Leanne’s comedy has landed her at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and has brought her development deals for her own sitcom with ABC and Warner Brothers, writer/producer Matt Williams (Rosanne and Home Improvement), TV Land and now with Sony Television.
Leanne has garnered over 1.5 million followers across social media and her popular stand-up special, So Yummy has reached over 50 million views on CZcams.
Her fan base continues to grow with her relatability as she discusses everything from being a housewife, sharing Jell-O recipes to having a new grandbaby. She has appeared on ABC’s The View, Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom and toured with the Southern Fried Chicks.
Now that her children are grown, Leanne is currently on The Big Panty Tour for her 100-city theater run across the U.S. with Outback Concerts.

I went to a Springsteen concert in my late 40's and towards the end of 2 hours the Boss was still going strong and all I could think was, "dear lord when will he finish; I want to go home and go to bed!" That's when I knew my youth was gone.
Boy is it!
Sweetie, I saw the Boss, in my mid- 20's and can relate to you on every level.
😂😂😂😂
i was always that way so not much has changed except now I leave even earlier
Omg this comment made me laugh so loud. 😂
It’s crazy when you look around and think these people are so old! Then you realize they are your peers, hits you in the gut! How did I get so old! 😆
at least we are still above ground
One day at a time, I figure.
Yes, when you're young time goes by so slowly... but then later... swiftly flow the years...
@@GregMoress yeah its almost Christmas again! It seems like yesterday we had Christmas i am planning to start shopping soon
So true 😂🤣
I won tickets to a Guns and Roses concert in Nashville a couple of years ago. My husband and I laughed so hard after hearing Leanne talk about this because this is exactly how we were at the G&R concert. Axle wasn't looking quite like he used to... right along with the rest of us. We had a great time but didn't get home until after midnight and it took us two weeks to recover, lol.
I think it's because Axel had a bad facelift cause he was such a doll.
We all age,but when they go for too much surgery?
Doesn't turn out so well.
My husband and I flew to LA to see Rammstein it took us about a week to feel normal.
@@joannp5806 he was so good looking but it was the kind of looks that don't last, He had red-head coloring, went in the sun too much, ate junk and partied....there is only so much surgery can fix. Unless you really wanna devote your life to it, like no talent Kartrash. See, Axl always could SING at least. I hope he didn't lose that too, but vocal chords don't last either....
@@nadiamccall4311
Agree with no talent Kartrashians,lol
But some singers do sound great even in their 70s🌹😊

Lol,sometimes I feel like my Get up and go,got up and went 😅
I’m a concert lover, this is hysterical! We used to go and drool over the band members, now we’re diagnosing them😂😂😂😂
😂🤣🤣
From a nurse, this is sooo funny cuz it’s often true
Now in their defense Arnel Pineda and Jon Cain the keyboard Player in "Journey" are very attractive LOL but she is just kidding so whatever LOL
😝😝😅😅😳🤦♀️😆😂
lol - or just drooling
I look around and think, seriously I’m surrounded by old people when I’m at a gig, then I burst out laughing when I realise I’m actually about their age!
In my head I’m forever young 😆
And stay that way!
At the last Aerosmith concert I attended, a man was wearing a shirt that says "I may be old, but I got to see all the cool bands."
I absolutely love her. She makes you feel like your having a conversation with an old friend.
Another Tennessee gal here relating to the "tall boy" beer 🤣😂
She reminds me of the show Designing Women. Such a treat!
same. I don't know what it is but she makes the stupid stuff that upsets me go away, if only for a tiny second
As a truckdriver, I can certainly relate going to Pilot.
I went to a local concert with my wife and made friends with the “kids” sitting at our table. They asked if we knew who the bands were and I laughed and said yes. They actually talked around us, excluding us from their chat. After the opening act, we got up and one of the girls asked if we were headed home already (sarcasm noted). Imagine their surprise when I appeared on stage with the second band. Hilarious. 😂
Oh the smile!!
We're you playing guitar or drums or singing?
Love it!
The 'talking around', despicable. So glad you thaught them well 😉
I love this so much!!!
My goodness, I never want her jokes to stop.😂
This is really hysterical, what a great delivery and a great laugh today! Thanks!!!
Hill people live this life style everyday. It ain't from Hollywood.
Went to a Led Zep tribute band performance... Looked around at a lot of very old people, shaking it, air guitaring... holding up lighters and was laughing at how all the old people were acting.. then it dawned in me.... I AM one of them! Ha I really like Leanne as a comedian!
😆 😂 😂
when I hear how OLD some of them are, I am like Holy F!! I have loved them since I was a teen.. Then it hits me too!! My guy is an entertainment photographer, so I see @70 shows a yr.. If you haven't GO to Rick Springfield, once the lights go out, we all race up to the stage.. It's a blast!!! You will feel (& act) like you are 16 again!!! ❤❤❤❤
My wonderful friend Sammy (R.I.P.) bought tickets for 3 of us to see America on my 50th birthday.
We went in the venue and I was so happy to see these silver haired geezers and old fogeys getting ready to rock.
Then I looked all around and whispered to Sammy, “Uh, did we make a wrong turn? This place looks like a Geritol convention!”
THEN it hit me: I wasn’t in my 20s anymore! I was right there, one of the geezers, waiting for a band to come onstage that I hadn’t seen since I was in high school!”
It’s WEIRD being the same age as old people! 🤣
I went to see Def Leppard about 10 years ago and was literally the youngest person at the concert. It was at a casino and I thought everyone was going to be my age. Everyone was my Moms age, and had walkers and canes. The singer has Bells Palsy though so that's why he doesn't quite look like he used to. But they put on such a great show, and the crowd was one of the best I've been in since I was a kid and there were no cell phones. Everyone was so respectful and kind and no one was blocking views with their phone screen or trying to video the whole thing. People just were enjoying the music.
This woman is hilarious, she is so charismatic and a complete natural at stand up. Never heard her tell a joke that sounded forced
Old people’s concert. Being old, I have gone to them. I made a comment to the organizer: This crowed is so old, you need ambulances. His reply, oh yes, we have them here, we just hide them.
😄😄😄
Played🥀 Lee Ann Morgan for my Retired Parents they really enjoyed her Comedy!😂
Def Leppard was the very first concert I had ever attended. The Def Leppard 'Animal' concert was held in Indianapolis Indiana in 1988 , I was 18 years old.
They had them when we were young. But they were for overdose cases! Now for strokes and heart attacks.
@@kristinen9854 You lucky woman 😊
...the children left and left me with their Daddy. LOL. I just love you Leanne!!
I’m 41 and I just told my friend my favorite way of watching a concert now is on my couch 😂
Went to see Journey, my teenage obsession, as a 56 year old. It was great fun as I stood up and danced and sang, but, boy, it hits you how old you are. Props to the band for still rocking! Perry was my boo too!
Like she said, it’s like watching a cover band now.
Mine too! My boo!
I kept expecting a joke about people standing up for the whole concert. As an aging concert-goer, I'm always relieved when the guys in front of us finally sit down 🤣
Hello Heidi, I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, and love all over the world, I would love to be a friend, where are you from?
I've watched videos of Queen at Live Aid and while i remember watching it on tv when it happened, all I can think of now is "how can those kids stand for hours on the stadium floor" and the best of all "how can they be there for hours and not need the bathroom". Things I never thought about, and now ALL I think about.
“He’s got a hernia.” With his little frail legs. Inflammation in their feet. Ten o’clock and we’ve got to get home. Hilarious!
IKR! I could listen to her all day and night. She's funny and tells the truth. L0Ls
First time hearing this lady and I was very impressed with her honesty about our generation. Everything she described had me rollin'! Kudos to great comedy!
First time. 😅😂🤣😭. Truth is seldom kind! ♥️♥️
I just recently found her so I get to go back and enjoy all her concerts and CZcams stuff. I love it she’s hysterical.
Oh honey, listen to the other videos. She is HILARIOUS!
I'm a 61 yr old classic rock drummer from the 70's still jamming today !
I'm 64 and saw over 50 major bands, several multiple times(Stones 5X, Kansas 4X, YES 3X, Syknryd 4X, etc). In 1974 I attended the Sedalia festival with 3 days of rock n roll.
The thought of sitting through another concert is not appealing due to back surgery but I do listen to music daily. I have over 2,500 songs in my Spotify library. So many songs, so little time...
First concert? 1973, Edgar Winter & Rick Derringer.
ROCK ON!

I’m sitting here. Yes I’m sitting down. I’m old. Tears are streaming down my face. 😂 she is so funny. My sisters and I go concert tripping and yes we buy the tickets a couple times a year. And this is so spot on we are gonna have to play this as a tribute to our concert going-assess . 😂😂😂😂
Hello Peggy
How are you doing today?
My husband and I went to see Stevie nicks. He wanted to leave before it was over. Finally about 11:00 I said okay let's go and when we were walking out to the car, I asked him what his favorite part was and he replied "when we left"! I couldn't believe it.
First time hearing this lady. Very funny without being vulgar or sarcastic.
Try dry bar comedy
She is funny
YES. Funny without being vulgar! Dry Bar Comedy has a channel with great comedians. The comedians keep it PG to PG-13. Check it out.
I love her 😍
It's that southern accent that makes it funny
That’s rare amongst female comedians
I'm 62 and enjoy going to concerts
But a lot of what she says is spot on.
She left out the price of some of the tickets.
You have to buy some of them in installments !
L. O. L.
$100.+ to see an old person.. What?! & they're not moving much faster than me..
My daughter paid $900 for EDC (Electric Daisy Concert) in Las Vegas. It was a three day concert but still...that doesn't count travel and hotel and food ect...
@@charlierogertango1055 Wow! That's criminal.
Funny
HEY!!!!.... I'm pushing 60 and I can still manage to stand through an entire concert .... once a year 🙂
Right? I saw Simon & Garfunkel about 20 years ago & I kept getting shushed 😂😂😂 I'm 59. Since then my concerts have been the Dropkick Murphys & you've got to move there!
But we are dead the next day 😟
I'm in tears. Omgosh she's hysterical. The large buckets of diet cokes 😂🤣😂
Just went to my 29th Doobie Brothers concert, the whole crowd was on their feet singing and dancing for over 2 hours. After all, we INVENTED the rock concert.
I just buy the CD now so I don't miss my regular bedtime. Or, I catch some concerts ( at a decent hour, of course) during PBS begathons. So sad just remembering, but at least I'm regular. The sixties changed everything and I'm not talking about the calendar.
I saw them in 87 on their Réunion Tour. It's still my favorite concert of all time.
@@Jim-bh7gs"at least l'm regular"is hilarious. Sums up little blessings we learn to appreciate as we age. Thanks for the laugh.😂
That is the most accurate description of our latest concert experiences ever. LOL
WOW this Lady is Brilliant. So so refreshing, real comedy and entertaining. No foul language, that’s real class from a stand up. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
You are hitting the mail on the head. It’s so funny how everything changes compared to when we were in our 20’s. Thank you bringing clean humor and making me laugh and not having to use foul language. Life experience is sometimes just funny as all get out. You don’t have to be vulgar to be funny .
Hello Kristian
How are you doing today?
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
She could read me her grocery list and it would be hysterical. She is both a comfort and a hoot. Love her!
I'm 61, and don't go to rock concerts anymore because I can't stand "the noise". LOL!! Gosh, how I've changed.
@nomopms1 My husband plays fiddle in a few country bands, and I don’t go to his shows anymore because 9pm is FAR too late to start a show. Heck, that’s almost my bedtime these days. 😴
I went to an oldies concert a few years ago in Connecticut. There was a lot of names that were big in the 60s who I haven't heard from in a while. Many of them looked very old and overweight. Wavy Gravy was the MC. I was cheering for the has beens and all the old hippies around me kept telling me to be quiet. Connecticut hippies haven't aged well. They turned into Archie Bunker types telling me to stifle myself. They probably still talk about the a-hole that ruined a concert they went to once who wouldn't shut up.
I wonder what the performers thought of the audience. Just me and my girlfriend showed any excitement. The rest just applauded politely between songs. It was surreal. The strangest concert I ever attended.
:)) I'm 62 and don't go to concerts anymore because a) no one has any good windowpane and b) I don't get to spend $15 and watch Queen perform "Night at the Opera". I didn't change, the world did!!
I haven't changed. I never could stand my music loud!
@@shamanbeartwo3819 What is windowpane?
My daughter took me to a Rod Stewart concert gosh I've seen I've seen less walkers at the nursing home LMAO
Linda Crowe Talk about your Geritol party.
Rod Stewart is only 75 years old. You make it sound like he has a lot of fans in their eighties and nineties !!! 🤔😲😉🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
OMG same with Elton John...walkers, EMS taking people out, wheelchairs, and the 500 lb woman in front of us heaved her dinner up all over the floor. God, it was bizarre. We are in our 50s and were amongst the minority of ambulatory folks there.
Lol, and portable O2 tanks! Can't make it up, Louisville KY
Hubs and I went to ZZ Top's 50th anniversary tour. Walkers, canes, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks. We felt young only having to wear our orthopedic inserts. Lol.
Exactly!!! Love you!!! I was remembering when my twin sis and I would be going out on dates when our parents were going to their twin beds. My sister and I swore that we would never be our parents. We thought that was the worst thing in the whole world to go to bed at 9 o’clock. Last night I went to bed at 8:30 PM. Something must be wrong with the clocks!
I have you beat.....we have twin beds because one has insomnia....the other restless leg syndrome!
I hear ya!!! 🙃🙃
I’m in bed now looking at this great video, and it’s 9pm, late night for me 😀😀😀😀😀😀
😂🤣🤣
I know. I go to bed at 9, but start watching the clock at 8. "Is it time yet?"

She's right, going to concerts today is so depressing. Went to MANY concerts when I was young but seeing them on stage now with grey, thinning, long stringy hair just isn't the same.
Not to mention all the other "entertainment" that enhanced the experience...
No one tells it like it is like Leanne. Leanne you are priceless!
She's yummy 🤓🤓🤓
I LOVE HER. SHE IS HILARIOUS!! 😂😂😂
Haha, I'm 51 and I've seen Def Leppard 37 times now, supposed to go this summer if they don't cancel it. I was at the DL/Journey show. She nailed it about the new singer, lmao.
My local Casino has many of the 'name' bands come through and Leanne nailed it. I can't believe the age of the crowds and then I stop and realize I'm that 'age'.
Where did the years go?
At least my hair looks as crazy as it did in the 70s......🤯
David Sirkin Be glad if you've still got hair.
One of the casinos around here has three guys who do "The Rat Pack". The Rat Pack? That would be my mother's generation and she was born in the Depression.
I got to the 80's band concerts at our Casino and I've noticed a lot of walkers and oxygen tanks.
Recently went to see Lover Boy (now lover grandpa), Styx and REO Speedwagon and they were great. I looked around and thought “gosh, everyone is old!”.
Then I realized I must be old too. So disheartening when I realized it. Seeing this ladies who were probably hot blond cheerleaders in their youth trying to,rock-out was too much. It was a fantastic concert and all three bands were great!
You're never too old to have fun. I'll go to concerts until I drop or just can't anymore. I get some funny looks but I never let that stop me.

You ve got to have a laugh ... she didnt mention the toilets after all the diet coke!!! It can be an issue in older folkes
I took my "kids" to see KC and the Sunshine Band ( my kids are young adults) a few years ago! They loved the music, but still laughed at us trying to dance with the "inflammation"!! Love this gal!!
Hahaha! Sooo true. I brought my daughter to a Boston and Cheap Trick concert a few years ago and she laughed at us older folk sitting on our chairs trying to rock out!
She'll be there one day..
Yep, I went to my 50th high school reunion....just some old people there.
😭😭😭😭
I’ll run into one of my classmates occasionally and come home and tell my wife “Man, they are looking old”. She chuckles at me for some reason. I haven’t figured it out.
I went to my reunion and I said "Oh that's nice! They invited the teachers." And one of the organizers said, "Those are your classmates."
Well, I have gone to reunions, and I have always looked young for my age, so most of my classmates do look older than me (Thank goodness for getting good genes!). Everyone always recognizes me, but so many have changed, through the years, that most of them I didn't recognize!
Yep. Last high school reunion I told everyone they look like the parents of some kids I used to know.
Went to an America concert twenty years ago. In my mid forties I was the youngest one there. America was at least fifteen years older. I think they played at Woodstock. The real treat was the warmup act. She was at least 80, hobbling onto the stage with one of those multi-foot canes. Then she opened her mouth and the most amazing blues wailing burst forth. Needless to say, she got a standing ovation as she hobbled off after her set!
America was the first concert I ever went to …. I love them! “Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn’t didn’t already have…..” lol!!! So symbolic…”Horse With No Name”….. hmmmmmm!!!
She who??
Yes, who was the blues singer? You yadayada’d over the best part.
Approachin' my 60s and this is exactly how I visualize goin' to a concert these days. OMG...we gotta get to our car...it's goin' on 10 o'clock...we gotta get to bed! lol To think back in the day I saw Van Halen in '84, Boston, Asia, Eagles, Steve Earle, Genesis, Yes, Stevie Nicks and so many others...and we always bounced back the next day. These days I'd need a month to recover.
Mid 40s and halfway through the concert I’m planning my exit so I don’t get stuck in two hours of traffic 😅
She is SO funny!
“What are we doing??? We gotta get home...we gotta get in the bed!” 🤣😂

This reminds me of when I took my teenage daughter and her friends into Washington DC to see AJR. It was standing room only and, as I walk with a cane, I was not happy about that. My feet were numb by the end of the concert and I literally hobbled outside. I had to call an Uber to take us two blocks to the metro, I couldn’t walk. It took me a week to recover.

Right. As time passes the High School drama turns into High School trauma. With my 30th coming up I’m gonna have to face reality and just pass. 😅
I know one exception, Roger Daltrey. I saw the Who a few years ago and Roger went on stage shirtless at age 70 and he still had it, and his voice was still at least 85%.

@@pambisugar8286 Oh my! I am in my early 60s, and I can still stay up late! Sometimes too late.
@@elouise5593 Lucky Louise, I'm jealous. If I stay up too late, I can see it in my face and feel it.
We had the pleasure of seeing The Turtles a few years ago at the local county fair. They were terrific. We were the oldies there at 70. Still singing “so happy together”
This woman is hilarious!
My son in law and daughter took me to Red Rock Amphitheater for a Dead and Co concert. We were treated with such deference. We were taken to front row seats up front and given a ride back to our car by the empty shuttle when we left early. I felt like a fraud but being a senior citizen does have its benefits. We still love our rock n roll, just can’t rock like we did to Grateful Dead 50 years ago.
Good comedian. Takes real life and makes it funny.
I've watched this several times and it's just brilliantly funny.
Funny lady, could listen to her all day. 👏👏👏👏
I am screaming laughing so hard… tears are coming out! She is the Queen!!😂🤣
I just LUV her southern talk.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ She’s hysterical! And I think southern accents are the best in the country! (and i’m from nj)
Me too!
Me too! People from up north and LA think I sound country but not like real southerners
She is not...and i hope you are either.
Went to see Kansas.. never saw so many walkers and canes.. 🤘🤘
Lol, hilarious as always! I hear you sister. I went to concerts throughout the 70's and 80's in my skimpiest clothes and was never home before 3 am. I've given up Rock Concerts for Comedy. I can dress casual, laugh my ass off and be home by 10! Life is good. Is it sexy and inspiring? Nope. Do I still have a great time? Hell yeah! I'm a grandma, can't wait till you have precious pets you can talk about. My husband and I talk every day about our kids raising babies. We always say, give them to us before you screw them up! Then realize we don't have the energy required for small leg grabbers, lol!
Lol. She's fantastic... From the looks, to the accent, to the comedy!
I get it. Just worked a Genesis show. Now my left foot is swelling inside my shoe.😂
I live in Sun City Arizona and last year sold out concert in Sun City of the band The Buckinghams from Chicago and a lot of people who live there from Chicago so the place was packed and the band couldn't understand the reaction everybody was having a really good time but nobody could move all retired I stood in the back and tried to dance a little but it was hilarious and the band said are you guys enjoying this and everybody applauded like you would like it. We just can't move we're too old just hysterical.
😂 😂
"steve perry is my boo"
I could watch this 100x and it still cracks me up like the first time!
Leanne is truly one of the most talented comedians I have ever seen. Absolutely hilarious, tremendous storyteller, and her timing is impeccable! Just saw her for the first time on her Netflix special and I am big fan!
Nobody in the whole world like Leanne Morgan. Thank you for the morning laughs. She is priceless.
