Rolaskatox actually ruined legitimate competition in that season . Roxy didn’t deserve her place in that top 4 . Out of all of them , Katya actually deserved to win the most . She didn’t have any one helping her get to the top , no helpful tactical voting , just lovable character traits and congeniality. I think I agree with others , that the season was manufactured for Alaska to win from the first episode. Anyway, Besides all that , Katyas verse in read you wrote you.. hands down the best !! Either Katya or Detox. Detox was really solid the whole time, it was very impressive. Katya winning would be good for TV and she'd be a super fun addition to the hall of fame, but Detox did really well in all aspects too, her only meh challenge was the product ad one with the talking trashcan. Alaska winning was just a whole "disappointed, but not surprised" situation. How they gave her a win for the 2 looks in 1 runway when one of her looks was a trashbag is just beyond me.

The best part about her saying "I'm loving this power situation" is that anyone, ANYONE else besides Roxxxy would see the nuance in that statement. It's simultaneously true and playful, chaotic and trying to alleviate tension, provide a narration and show Katya's dorky humanity in the campy setting they've found themselves in (just look at the difference at what the two are wearing). But because Roxxxy is Roxxxy, she is used to having a cushiony experience on RPDR where she rises to the top with her friends, and was instantly like, "nnnoooo!!" It's hilarious because I feel like Katya knew this would be the response she would receive. Genius.
