@railcar123 That bat in Spooks was not Curly, it was Shemp. Notice how Moe and Larry stare at Shemp after they see the bats face up close. Listen to the bat's voice that is clearly Shemp's voice.
I've realized how perverted Curly is in this scene. After he's thrown out and before he says "I know. . . Mone and Larry". His hand gestures. It's obvious that he was turning the wrong valves behind that door. LOL
The whole crew realized something was wrong between right around the time Curly did "A Bird in the Head". They had to feed him a line after every take. Really sad to see Curly during those last few years. Between that one and "Half-Wits Holidays", the last one they said that Curly gave his A game was "Three Little Pirates". That's one of my favorites.
No no, Curly didn't have his stroke before this one. He had it when filming "Half Wits Holiday". He never came back at all except his tiny appearance in "Hold that Lion". Curly just always had trouble memorizing his lines while Moe had a photographic memory and always helped his baby brother with everything.
Booze left Curly broken shell of his former self, he barely got through the skits, this and Half-Wits Holiday were his last 2 shorts before the booze drug poison killed him. Stick with weed, booze kills.
The booze drug poison made him the shell he was, Larry had the strokes. He was a drug addict: BOOZE, and it killed him at age 40. Stick with cannabis medicine.
LMAO!!! that part with the nurse is one of the funniest things to happen to Curly!
I can take a hint!!

IT's funny when Curley get's tossed through the door by the nurse.
One of the funniest Curley bits. Turning the valve the wrong way too.

Yeah his hands were imitating what he was just doing to that lovely nurse...lol

Sadly Curly's health problems caught up with him, both physically and mentally.
0:47: Moe and Larry told Curly to turn the steam off, but Curly accidentally turn it way up from Normal to Danger
✌️👀💥😫!!!!
at :58 that is so funny
:58, he eyepokes the glass and Curly feels it!
God that kills me.

I just read recently that Curly was the "Shemp Bat" in the Shemp short "Spooks". It does look like him.
Those women from that era were so dainty
must have been a ton of hate for the power of the nurse to send a 200lbs man off his feet, sooo funny
Put It On AMC On TV
Or CZcams
I thought the first short where Curly had his minor stroke was "If a Body Meets a Body"
Haaa!!! How Dare You!!!

Mischievous behavior
@boomcc1 watching him is amazing! cant believe there were all these stooges: Ted Moe Shemp Larry Curly Joe Curly Joe Emil
@boomcc1 sadly the only reason he last weight was strokes he suffered, he died shortly after this.
