I Used Cherry Vanguard The WRONG Way UAF - Starsector

Exactly what it says on the tin. We've all wanted to see the Cherry Vanguard in action before. It is not a combat ship, AI autopilot will keep it away from enemies. In Human hands, that's a different story. Of course, I chose to use it against the Fantastic 5.

I couldn't get the ram I wanted either lol. Meant to ram every ship, but they just died too fast and the cherry is a bit slow. I also can't turn off the cherry melody drive after it turns on. I've also beat all the large super capital bounties like Epattcud X, World Eater, the big ScalarTech one(can't remember name) all before getting the Cherry, so can't ram those. It's the not end of Cherry ramming though. I have something special in mind.

Yo chief, how did you get the ship? Did you spawn it or do you get in a mission?

Somewhere in the galaxy, there's an abandoned ship forge. If you feed it materials, it will build any ship possible, but the RNG is extremely brutal, so make a save and reload until you get the ship you want. From what I tested, how much you feed it determines the size of the ship, but there's an upper limit cap. This means after a certain amount, say 10k ship components (iirc this is the correct material to feed it) you're already rolling for capital size, anything more is just wasted. I can't remember how much I gave, 10k or 20k, it was a long time ago. Just make sure to bring a ton of resources. You can also get them from UAF if you're commissioned, but it's also grindy.
