U know its sad to me to see my Boy reno got that less of a screen time even Knowing the JP voice actor of his dies , but the final record of his is to small, its really unfortunate.

This is all archived VO from avent children too apparently - Keiji Fujiwara passed in 2020 - they decided not to recast him and use what they had and adjust the story.
Nomura confirmed that Reno will have bigger role in part 3 and will recast the JP VA, the reason his role was short on Rebirth, was out of respect of Keiji Fujiwara, but also they had no time to recast and find someone to match Reno's unique tone in such short time frame, that's why they used archived lines from Remake/Advent Children/Crisis Core.

I was surprised about that as well. Rude may be stronger but Barret has a much bigger & stronger desire to win than than he did. I don't think he would had that fist clash otherwise or beat him on a regular head on fight otherwise.
@@soralight_x honestly, I think he's just not limber enough. Dude packs way more heat than Rude: in both senses, but Rude knows how to control it and aim his blows accordingly. Barret lumbers around due to his physique and can't dodge roll effectively, _But,_ he's still a beefy motherfucker that would win in an exchange of blows. I feel like the gun arm doesnt help with his body control/orientation all too much, too
Barret is strong physically but he does not have the knowledge of martial arts or the flexible of a slender body.
We are talking about beefy coal miner. Barret is not a physical fighter (it can be in the remake with the claw and the demolition ball), but that doesn't mean he is not strong to pack a decent punch.
I think we shouldn't underestimate his strength
I mean Barrett has gotta be like 6'5ish and 300Lbs of muscle. Dude is an absolute unit

I'm glad they kept these voice lines in instead or recasting him. These are all archived VO from advent children apparently. In the third game they may have to get a new VO but it was nice to pay respect to him one last time.

The closest thing we get the turks as guest party member while cid and vincent are just sitting in the sides. Even in Ever Crisis they trolled us.

He's a turk. It would be kinda weird how he'd be fine dropping a plate over a whole sector of people but not hurting some girl lol.
I’m saying he’s got a bit of a crush on Tifa though. He intentionally prevented Reno from gunning her down and avoided using extreme force on her in the fight.
@@parjol9064 In Remake he asks Tseng if destroying the whole sector was necessary, showing that he sort of has a sense of regret for it.

@@butt5fulYou missed out that he also tried to protect Aerith in some scenes so here in Remake it doesn’t look like he has a crush on Tifa but his character is somewhat more dismissive on hurting women if confronted one on one.

Dude I popped so hard when Reno’s track hit! Just sucks he only gets one fight in this game, hopefully he shows up at least once more in Part 3 for a big boss fight

Looking forward to Tseng healing up and all four Turks in a boss battle in Midgar for part 3.

An underrated detail I missed during this section, in 0:46 Rude actually comes through and uses a remedy/maiden's kiss on Cloud when he's been turned into a frog, proving that the Turks aren't horrible people.

Probably not full-time, but I wonder if he and Rude would become temporary party members for that one fight in Wutai from the OG. If they pad that out as well, they might stick around for a bit
@@avradio0b Cloud, Reno and Rude vs Corneo to rescue Elena and Yuffie? It definitely better be! We got playable Sephiroth in Part 2 so playable Turks isn't too farfetched

Am i the only one struggling really hard with late game bosses? I'm having such a harder time than i did with remake, even on hard mode

What do you mean "even on hard mode"? Of course it's hard on hard mode. For I say it's hard, even on normal mode.

Reno is fighting Cloud and Tifa all alone
Cloud was just Marinated in mako for 4-5 years he was never a Soldier let alone a 1st class one. But he is Mako enhanced to the extreme. So yeah Reno extra impressive @@KoriDess
Cloud put a sword through Sephiroth the first time without being ehanced. Cloud was injected not with Jenova cells but Sephirothb cells directly than marinated in Mako for 4 years .I agree he may not have training but the strength, speed and durability. Thats what makes Reno going toe to toe with him and Tifa at the same time so impressive. @@KoriDess

I love that Tifa isn't just some girl.
She's basically Cloud's equal (if not more) and can handle Rude one on one in terms of pure martial arts.
I would have hated if they just made her some cheap fan service that you have to rescue all the time.
