Years ago when the kids were little one of my friends had little ones and they would come over all the time and as soon as his girls would come through the door Blackjack would lay down and stay there the whole time they were visiting. Bruno reminds me so much of Blackjack. I thank you so much for sharing your experiences. It really triggers all kinds of great memories for me. Also, if I may say so, I think it is terribly important to raise children with animals to learn proper stewardship beliefs and to learn compassion and love of other living creatures. Good job to you and your wife.

You could do a once-a month Bruno-specific "diary day" where he's inspecting/reacting to things (like when you went ice fishing). I think also, once in a while, tiny little snippets of him speaking "typically Bruno" would be funny (him tearing up a box e.g. "take that box, not so tough now, huh")
