This Pulse Rifle is awarded by activating the wrath of the machine monitors, and completing the Channeling the Corruption Exotic Quest!

A lot of people got caught off guard with the slow progression in light level and weren't prepared last weekend. This weekend will be different for those who really want it.
I gotta say, all raid weapons so far have been extremely unique, but I feel like this one will be the most effective outright in every scenario out of all the raid weapons
It may be really good for the Hunter's Night Stalker sub Class. Put on the tracker trait and the Nanites would track enemie Guardians in the Crucible. You could see them around corners.

What I'm hearing about all raid wrath of the machine weapons so far "It's a really neat gun, but I don't like it that much." What I used to hear/say about VoC weapons; "This gun is awesome for everything!"
plenty of these weapons are semi-exotic weapons as they remind me atleast of a couple of already excisting exotics and I see plenty of people that really try to chase after certain guns. like the scout rifle that can be a DPS monster.
Or the auto rifle for it's high damage and firefly effect.
Nothing beats a Fatebringer or a found verdict for example, but these new raid weapons are much better than Crotas End and Kingsfall raid gear.

Here's another hint to figuring out if virulence will proc, the two lights on the side of the weapon's sight will glow if virulence can proc. If they are not on, virulence won't proc.
I think it has headseeker as a hidden perk. if you saw, it displayed 38 damage to an enemy guardian's head (normally 25)
Now that we know how to get the exotic pulse rifle now all we need to figure out is how to get the exotic dubious volley rocket launcher, the void and solar version of the thunder lords and yes those exotics are in the game because their exotics perks are in the game
maybe is a variable of Thunderbird? seeing how bungie is incompetent as a company they might have just put t behind an update

my biggest grip about this. you always have to have 2 other people with the whole damn time. im all for teaming but don't force me. on top of that. it has to be one of each class in the fireteam..

We Ned some clarification on the rules for achieving this quest when you activate the monitors.
What I mean is, my team activated all the monitors but, a few of those people that were with me left the raid and we didn't get the quest after we beat the boss.

you have to be the fireteam leader. If the fireteam leader leaves, then you pretty much have to start again.
I like this weapon a lot. It was a grind to get but it was worth it. Now I finish all the exotic quest for Rise Of Iron
cant figure out the second sequence. The codes we found only worked for our warlock but our hunter and titan cant get through. Does anyone have help?

Got this gun yesterday and simply love it! My issue is my entire armour load-out I rock is built for Hand-cannons and autos so I need some new armour to accommodate my new weapon :) Great exotic not to OP its just right.
No shout out to datto? He and his group were the first ones to piece the whole puzzle together and open the fourth monitor. I mean 1000% props and thanks to /r/raidsecrets but datto and his squad were the first to release a guide and open it up to the community
Hey, me and my friends did everything right and I manged to get it and complete the quest and got my gun before they entered their codes in and now they can't complete it, is there any way I can fix this?
I just got it and let me tell you,I myself am not a fan of pulse rifles but this thing is one of the best guns I've ever had
So, in essence, it's just a very solid legendary pulse rifle with a better version of firefly and explosive rounds except it's exotic? Seems like a great weapon, but is it worth taking it over a hawksaw Gjallarhorn combo?

I'm kind of surprised that it had nothing to do with the Dormant Siva Clusters.
Good video RK! Unfortunately, I'm not going to waste my time trying to get this weapon. The process is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. IMO. I am sure I will do just fine without it.

if trials comes out soon it's basically gonna be everyone's primary practically necessary just due to that light level at least until we can get up past 385 normally otherwise this'll have that advantage in light level based pvp

Hey kakhis for the monitors. Once you activate one does it register it to your account or if you back out of the raid do you need to look for the monitors again? For example if I find the first monitor and I back out of the raid do I need to look for the first monitor again?

how did you figure out the 6th part of the mission?
go to dattos video and he should have a calculator for this in his description. when you go to details on the siva engine thing you need to input all those numbers in the calculator (each one of your members has to do it at the same time) and you have to basically do what you did in the 2nd number thing. but you can do it yourself if you want. you just have to add up all those numbers to equal 730 the top 3 are plus and the bottom 2 rows are minus

Honestly Iv gotten this gun today and already infused it with my grasp god roll. The look of this weapon is great yes but I feel that's all it is. The only reason I'd have kept this gun is to show off (look at me) type attitude. Is the quest worth going through all of that just to get awarded a good looking gun? Not for me I'm afraid and in future I will look into a weapon before setting off on such a big quest line to get it.

Destiny needs to bring back guns like the Vex Mythoclast after killing atheon on hard mode. Something unique like that, not a normal class weapon with one cool perk and no elemental effect. Honestly bungie needs to make rewards much greater for everything we go through to actually receive these damn guns!

If you got to the boss with the 4 monitors but couldn't complete but have the checkpoint .will it still hold those active monitors and you can beat the boss and get the filth monitor?

What is considered the god roll on the hawksaw? I keep hearing GOD ROLL mentioned, but I never know what it is. I dont PvP very much and usually run a hatchet or MIDA when I do, but would like to try some new guns in PvP and change it up a bit. I checked my inventory and have one hawksaw with spo28/perfectbalance/counterbalance/smallbore

It's actually not that hard and straightforward, all you'll really need is a good raid group, 3 people each different classes and have the quest, and safari. Trust me, you'll get it soon 😄

I was at 351 you can. do most of the raid up until aksis
If you're above 350 you can do it with a good team at higher light levels.

so i spend 4 hours to finally solve this with my raid team last night before Datto released the information how to do it. waking up now seeing the whole Destiny community already knows how to do it without all the hard work... Feelsbadman
Everyone is saying it's SUPER hard to get but thats all bullshit. It's just time consuming. If you push yourself through it, you can get it in 5-6 hours

Idk what Bungie did to Destiny with the update before the expansion because I am getting killed too easily in PvE, wether it's patrol or strikes. One hit from a splicer and I'm dead. WTF?!? And I'm not joking.
most likely, you're dying fast in strikes because you're not paying attention to the burn. It's solar burn in heroics this week.

I know he said patrols as well, I can't explain why he's getting burned down in patrol. I was just addressing strikes because the "burn" is usually where the complaints come from when people are getting cut down fast and don't understand why.
They're level 42, which significantly increases their damage output compared to a level 40 enemy at the same light. You can compensate for that increase with higher light. I think one hit is a bit of an exaggeration, but definitely 2-3 hits from a sniper.
Ok, ill add that to the list to exotics i don't, cant, and never will get.
