Joe Lopez Y Super Grupo Mazz-Live

El Grupo Mazz is a Tejano band originally from Brownsville, Texas. The band was known for their idiosyncratic and innovative form of Tejano cumbia which made them distinguishable among their counterparts. Mazz became one of the most popular Tejano music bands during the genre's 1990s golden age.

MAZZ is what we call in Texas "La Mera Gran Cosa Tejano". Joe can sing at 39 in 1989 and check out his performances in Rosedale Park in March 19, 2022 recording the Live Album Una Noche Juntos 2 here in San Antonio, Texas. I was in attendance and my family Linda, Anita, Juan and friends and let me tell you at 70 Joe Lopez can sing without loosing a beat and heart to his phrasing. Joe has proven that a man should stand his ground either in the judicial system or this cruel music industry. I know people will only see what they want and hope Joe can be recognized as one of the greatest vocalist we had in the Tejano Genre. Enjoy like Joe always says, "Be Someone".
