AK 100-series handguard is only avaible from prapor lv 1 after gunsmith part 2
Just to add a note to the mosin. LPS gzh is likely to be moved to Prapor LL2 due to the new 7.62x54r ammo being added to the game (FMJ, SP BT, and HP BT)
Update: I called it. They moved LPS to Prapor LL2

I remember only using vpo 215 2 wipes ago. Made my confidence boost to where I ran the whole map any map. Shout out to reserve with the vpo 215 fmj. Smacked so many juicers when I first started.
1:00 you can definitely put a sight on the M4, you just need to buy the spacer attachment from peacekeeper lvl1. It'll rise the sight up above the front gas block.

for the m4, you can add a sight on day1. take off carry handly, buy aimpoint mount and mount tall height thing, and then aimpoint scope all from peacekeeper

lil shooting range tips i recently figured out:
you can just tap ESC to reset out of the range and immediately press F to go back into it again.
you can also, after hitting ESC, immediately hit tab to access stash without going back to menu. Swap guns, attachments, etc, right back into the range

Personally I rush lvl 15 and m856a1 on first day of wipe then buy ak 101 off flea and use it with bastion, rk4, gp25 recoil bad, and hybrid 46 suppressor
i was putting KAC RIS handguards on my m4 and using MRS sight for the first few days of wipe, pulling the carry handle off. The front iron is still there but it's not very obstructive at all.
All you need is an sks and a dream.
For those like me who has standard account u really should farm all 4 Heli buildings for ammo. I usualy get 1000+ pp/bs/bt for AK 5.45 there in scav/pmc/hero runs

From peacekeeper, you can get hand guards that allow you to put a grip and laser on it, all from lvl 1 traders
4:50 this is exactly why i watch these videos as an experienced player, that SKS trick alone is going to be fukn gold this wipe (edit: the rear sight thing i mean)

Also the vpo bolt action is a good choice if you wanna spam reload for xp and not worry about the bullets dropping like the Mosin

quick question, that RK-6 foregrip that you suggested, it only takes away 1% of recoil and adds 5 ergonomics. That sounds negligible and not at all worth it looking at it at face value. Is it simply for the slight benefit or do those numbers do more than they say?

the m4a might as well have been shooting nerf darts pre level 2 traders same with the mosin I've never seen a peanut helmet ricochet bullets till this wipe since they moved lps to praper level 2 was a very very rough 4 days i had to unintentionally zero to hero once ( trying to rely a little less on my scav ) also surprised by the lack of 74u the guns kinda nutty and BP is easy to come across can just use ps until you save up some bp from raids cause the ps loses a little pen but not much
Honorable mention should definitely be semi auto shotgun with magnum buckshot

I last played like 2? years ago and remember the VPO-209 was a literal joke and noone used it. What changed? Huge buff to ammo?
I might be dumb but I always thought that USEC starts with m855 and not with fmj, since I have never played BEAR.

Thanks for all the info. As a casual, it makes getting into it so much easier. Id rather guides like this than having BSG water the game down to suit the casual. Had too many of my fave games and genres dumbed down just to please the lowest denominator.

How can you reload the mosin even if full? Do i need to change some settings? If i try reloading with a full mosing nothing happens. So i cant level the skill on the go :/

You want an advantage with the starting stash and on lighthouse.
BEAR breathing is much louder than USEC, this is a real thing. Also the advantage on lighthouse barely matters since as soon as you kill one rogue they treat you like a BEAR for like 5 raids

The lighthouse advantage is BS after you kill them once you’re treated as bear for the next 5 raids

You can get the Riser mount from Peackeeper 1. So you can slap a sight. Handguard, laser, grip etc on M4’s
all of these shots are with elite skills isnt it? so your recoil is different than a starter account id assume
