What are you on about? The house elements were big during 2015, 2013-2016/2017 was basically ruled by EDM songs with house elements. It's over now in fact.

Electrohouse was big back then, we had the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Hardwell etc. Big room house is a subgenre of electro house. Progressive house was even more popular.

+Janice L they do like her a lot especially after king of mask singer. Don't misunderstand. The problem is that the general public in Korea 1) was hoping for a ballad and 2) they don't really like edm. Luna knows that but she likes it a lot and she wanted it all to be in her own style, so she went against the general expectations to stay true to herself and to let Koreans get more accustomed to edm music. Her fans lover her for this and support her and her album. But yeah I believe her fanbase international is bigger than the national one

But as +ParkMiyoung said it's a thing about types of music and Koreans don't really like edm :c for example, Lucky One of Exo is not paid that much attention as Monster and I believed it is because of the type of song (which is similar to Free Somebody) I do think she has this X factor because when I saw her live stage, she just slayed. Her confidence, her smile and moves were so on point that I questioned why Luna isn't that popular in Korea (idk why :c she's just so gorgeous)
And SM knows about this, knows the type of songs Korean people like (Monster for example, why release two videos? maybe that was the reason, maybe if they just release Lucky One, it wouldn't have being received so well by the Korean audience)

for the fans who keep demmanding voting for luna look we all want her to win she worked extremely hard for this and deserves to win in order for her to feel appreciated and to let her know that there's a lot of ppl who loves her but y'all focusing on voting forgetting that voting isn't the only thing that will make Luna win. There's other factors too to take in consideration aside from the voting they will also look at the digital/physical sales, MV views and based on that they will call the winner. The majority are either so obssesed with one member alone "krystal" or non exsistance ship"kryber" and the rest either don't exsist to them or casual fans likes them but don't keep up to them. A music company, like SM, needs to work with their new groups to form a fandom and also work on the public's vision towards the group (and members as individuals in different areas). Recently, victoria back to korea so that she can release her album in china (from her own money) she need permission from her company since she is under sm ent. but the company want credits even though they did not help her to work on her songs. Now, Luna is coming back because she will release digital release but it seems like SM Entertainment didn't promote her comeback properly.

Luna's Free Somebody was the first Kpop album I bought, and it still is the only album that I could play in the car without it being too distracting. Not only is it consistent in sound and volume and beat, but it sounds even better with larger speakers
