I see where ur coming from, but Charks routes are no where near as fast and crisp as Johnson’s are. Also Johnson has the great separation in the league. I like you am also cautious, but do no mistake it, he is much different from what we have seen here in WR play.
DJ flashed potential, but due to being injured and not getting reps. I don't think we saw the best version of him.
As a Steelers fan you can have him. Comparing him to Tony is 💯 but what makes it a good comparison is his hands are weak dude fumbles the ball with 5 yards separation. He is an elite route runner but the dude couldn’t catch a fly with 💩

Name 1 quarterback that can get receivers the ball when they have no time to throw and the receivers can't get open? Just 1 that had a successful season with both of those problems. Patrick nor Tom would be able to do that. Ya'll blame the quarterback for things out of their control. That ain't fair nor does it make sense.

@@KennyHeathGregory True. I think he needs some work on his arm strength. I think a slight change in mechanics may do that. I saw someone do a video that showed him getting more heat on his passes whenever his footwork was proper. I did like the flashes of play extension that he showed. I also like that he showed that he can get us downfield if we need a game-winning drive a few times.

Steelers fan…Diontae is very good!! Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky are terrible! Diontae gets open!! Very good after the catch! Excellent route runner!! As long as QB can pass accurately Diontae is very nice!! 1000 yards plus with Big Ben!!
Let's hope Bryce can get him the ball. He threw behind so many receivers this year. His percentage of passes from 10-19 yards on catchable balls was 48%. Catchable meaning the receivers were open.
If I remember correctly, Bryce had solid accuracy through the first few weeks of the season and the pressure of the porous offensive line seemed to rapidly decrease his accuracy as the season went along. However, PFF doesn’t define catchable as “open receiver” it just means it was within the receivers catch radius. Hopefully the reinforced offensive line can let Bryce regain some confidence and light it up.
