I can't believe I found this! I went to school with Grant at Bruntsfield. He still looks like the 10 year old I remember, but with a beard! Good show man.
Great man. I also whent to James Gillespies High school, great memories come back listening to him.
You and Grant get along like old friends. What a fun interview to watch. Many thanks!
What a lovely man. I'm really enjoying this series Tony. BTW did you sound out Ian Rankin?
I’m trying.
Aw yessss...my wee toun got a mention, Burntisland shows 🥰 Have to say the last 2 years have been very quiet not having the shows here for the 3 months of the year we usually get them 😭 Fingers crossed for this summer, try pull some more cash into the local businesses 👌
My dad loves him
I just saw the panto yesterday - thanks for this xoxo
I believe the Instagrammer Grant Stott interviewed is Shawna Law. Her book is “Pockets of Pretty: An Instagrammer’s Edinburgh”. Available on Amazon.
Ooh, big up Blackpool and St Annes! That's my neck of the woods. Panto with Elaine C Smith must have been good, I love her in Two Doors Down.
Great interview, a lovely man. We must plan a panto, when we come on a Christmas market trip. I always went to the panto at Sunderland as a child, then they stopped it for a while so we went to Newcastle with all the family. They got to that age where they didn’t want to go so we’ve stopped, but maybe it’s time to go back!
Two Scottish legends chin wagging
Like you grant
this is so cool! In the States we never get to see these kinds of interviews of Scotlands talented people. I can't wait to see who's next! Thanks Broonford's!
More to come!
Grant is a great guy his best mate mino was a family friend so grant more often and not come on Sunday bbq’s down to yellow Craig’s... great interview 👍
Loved this interview!! It’s so fascinating to hear about how even locals still learn about their city/history, especially since I’m guilty of knowing more about other places than my own hometown! Just gives more excuses to get out and explore (when the time is right!)!
Haha i live in guildford, i have been in performances as a kid at the yvonne arnaud theatre too. Small world. Enjoyed today interview, thankyou x
Loved this - so much fun to hear people's stories of growing up in Edinburgh and how much they still love the city...with each episode I am finding more and more things I want to do on my next trip!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoying this series Tony, lovely hearing all the memories 😊, puts a smile on my face during these difficult days.
Glad you like them!
Yet another great video and another TV legend 👍👌
Brilliant interview, I love the quickfire questions at the end. I'd have to say shortbread, whisky and haggis....love haggis. Stay safe all of you x
Great interview Tony! Hope u can keep them coming!
Well...I said it about your last interview video, love this new format. It was like sitting in the room with the two of you ( eavesdropping ? ). Lovely man and wonderful conversation. More please? Great job Tony.
That was really great. Missing Edinburgh so much. Burnt Island, Porty shows and beach. Just great. Thanks!
Keep it up Tony, great video, informative and highly entertaining.
Will have to check out Stockbridge next visit - I had Dean Village on the list but didn't make it.
It’s a lovely spot.
panto every year, Christmas starts here.
Ian Rankin, Sean Connery, Alexander McCall Smith as possible guests. All you can do is ask....and maybe you’ll be surprised!
Feel it might be difficult to get them for an interview.
Tony a first Class video from a famous Hibee and a pantomime great... This is a entertaining series.. Ggtth...
👍
So should we expect a wee wander around Stock Bridge for a future video?
You need to check the old archive. Done that already.
