I have one of these scopes on a Ruger PC carbine it is great. I have tried a scope and also the sights on the rifle. They all worked but this scope is thumbs up.
I appreciate you pointing that out, and you are absolutely correct. I have updated the title and description and will get an edited video done shortly.
There is a the original Crossfire which will show the letters RDS-1 in the bar code. The gen 2 Crossfire will have a RDS-2 listed in the barcode. I found out this is the reason why vendors will list them as a Crossfire or Crossfire 2. It has to do with battery life, with the 2nd gen Crossfire having extended hours.
Definitely recommend you buy from an actual store rather than eBay. As I commented above, I see optics planet and many other stores with them listed for $149. Again, I have no affiliation with any vendor or store.
awesome review great content but please don't take me wrong, and I do not mean to be a troll, but budget to me is like $20.-$40. now that is budget when you start getting close to that $100 mark then that is no longer budget, and personally I think anything over $120. you are buying a Brand not the optic, just my view and assessment.
That’s a good point, as “budget” is relative to each person. I appreciate you mentioning it Mr Short! Let me see what I can come up with for another video for the $20-40 price range. Stay tuned my friend. Thanks for watching!
Budget is relative to the type of item you are looking at and the type of market you are in. When the VAST majority of semi decent red dot's are several hundred, this is very much a budget. If your expecting to get a functioning red dot that works dependably for $20 then shooting isn't the hobby for you. It's an expensive hobby, a box of ammo can cost over $40+.
Just bought mine from amazon, they had it for $99 on cyber monday super happy with it.
I was watching the sales this year and I didn’t see much in the way of bargains, but $99 for this scope in todays market is a win for sure.

Agreed. I am highly impressed with this thing, especially for that sale price.
For anyone who wants to snag one of these, my guess is this years Black Friday sales will have these at a nice discount.
It's like the Sig Romeo5. If it was made in America it would be ten times the quality but twice the price. You get what you pay for.
This is not a Crossfire II, it is a Crossfire. The Crossfire II is a scope.

It was $89 from Optics Planet (plus tax) during their Black Friday sale 11/2021.
I guess I’m gonna have to wait till the next Black Friday cause there almost $200 now in California
@@JuniorWarrior4Christ right they're 149.99 on ebay buddy and you get a free hat. I paid 150 here locally, but no free hat 😞😓 lol
I see them for $149 on Optics Planet right now. Usually you can find them on sale for around the $119 price point.
