  • There are a lot of tools in Lightroom Classic that help you edit your photo according to your creative style. This is part two of a five part series where I break down the different panels in Lightroom to make editing your photos a little easier. If you haven’t watch the previous episode in this series, pause this one and come back to it. The previous video covers all things histogram and basic corrections. In this tutorial I break down:
    What the tone curve is
    How the tone curve works
How to copy tone curve settings
How to get the most out of your tone curve to create the most visual impact in your photos
Questions? Drop em in the comments.

Thank you for this! I've just started using Lightroom in the last week and I find myself having to learn curves now. (I suppose I *could* have learned them in Snapseed, which I was using (still using, actually), but I just...didn't!) I seem to end up with very gentle S-curves more than anything else; I find that if I move a curve very much at all my photos end up with this weird garish color thing going on. So much to learn! :)
