  • Skin cancer treatment with the use of slow MOHs (micrographic surgery) is explained by Vancouver Island plastic surgeon Dr. Anzarut.
I uses this technique to ensure all of the cancer is removed before reconstructive surgery is started. I explain who requires MOHs skin surgery and who does not. After surgery patients require reconstruction with either a skin flap or skin graft. This video shows plastic surgery before and after photos and intra-operative video.
I treat patients in Duncan British Columbia. I have been providing cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice on the Island since 2009. I am board certified in Canada by the FRCPS and in the United States by the ASPS. I see patients from Victoria, the Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Comox, Campbell River, and Salt Spring Island.
I completed medical school at the University of British Columbia in 2000. I completed plastic residency at the University of Alberta. I have completed additional fellowship training in burn care, hand surgery, microsurgery, cancer reconstruction, breast surgery, eyelid surgery, lymphedema surgery, and cosmetic surgery. This included extensive travel through the United States, Belgium, Denmark, and Australia to learn from leaders in the field.
