    I can't think of anyone else who dominated their early years with pure athleticism, and then developed this insane fadeaway and just as effectively dominated with an entirely different game. His ability to square his shoulders to the rim no matter what his lower half is doing is the best all time

      Overall tho, def not the goat but one of the all time greats for sure without a doubt.

    Good reaction. You guys have a good sense of humor. Mike didn't have any weaknesses in his game. He could do everything, that was allowed by the rules at his time. Every year he mastered something new. That is the reason why he would dominate in any era. His complete game, basketball IQ, and supreme athleticism is what seperates him from the rest. If LBJ had mastered his mid range game I could understand how people could think he was a better player than Mike. But he is good at passing and getting to the rim. And as he gets older his ability to get to the rim will fail him. Imho his game has too many flaws to be considered the best to ever do it.

      Wilt is the goat by far. Impacts winning against the most hall of famers at once stacked teams more than anyone else ever on both ends of the floor combined, goat rebounder, goat shot blocker, top 5 defender ever overall, top 3 field goal scorer of any goat level player, 4 rules changed to slow him down, led league in assists as a center, can shoot fades n reverse pivot fades, reverse layups off post spins and even finger rolls that goats like dr j got from him, hook shots even from deep range, goat shot intimidator, 11 steals career high, by far goat record holder, etc….
      Lbj and MJ can go either way and The deciding factor shouldn’t be because of a mastery of midrange lbj is better at passing more than MJ is better at midrange and passing is a far better tool than mid range jumper. Overall, jordan is the better scorer and defender while lebron is the better passer and rebounder and both are great field goal scorers given the defense of their era and both are great at impacting winning against the amount of hall of fame competition odds they weee up against it’s very close what each is better at than the other.
      Can go either way but neither of them compare to guys like Wilt Chamberlain who is undoubtedly the goat

      @@beenizz5102 Interesting...First, Look up the time that Mike played Point Guard. Second LeBron isn't a good shooter or good from the line. So his main advantage, going to the rim would have been less effective in the 90s because he would have had superior rim protectors and forward knocking him to the ground and he couldn't shoot FTs. Thirdly, Wilt has some stacked teams himself, but still only has 2 Chips. And, his numbers would fall if he played in the error of 90s and 00s with all of the other dominate and athletic 7' footers. Wilt was 30 years ahead of his time. He could dominate the current league but, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, Shaq, Mutombo, Akeem, Duncan, them boys would have caused his numbers to drop. Imho

    • @beenizz5102
      @beenizz5102 Před 11 měsíci

      @@w.w.1348 not at all. Them boys would’ve caused Wilts numbers to go up! None of the guys you named were able to be better big man defenders than 6 foot 7 power forward Rodman or better rebounders than 6 foot 7 power forward rodman
      Bigger than that, none of the names you mentioned were track and field athletes. Plenty of guys in Wilts time we’re. Even the worst notable big guy in Wilts era who was the biggest of them all was a dominant presence named Suede Halbrook who was 7 foot 3 barefoot and he was a track and field athelte. With the non strict rules of being able to bump and dislodge your defender (offensive fouls in wilts era) and lack of defending and rebounding bigs in the 90s and 00s, Suade Halbrook becomes an all star and Wilt becomes a real life Galactus from Marvel among humans lol and on top of that you had several other athletic bigs in wilts time whom couldn’t do nothing with Wilt (with exception of Kareem) whether wilt was in his prime or not when they faced each other all of whom were either track and field athletes as well, or better overall players than most of the guys u named with the exception of Hakeem. These guys include barefoot 7 foot 2 Kareem, barefoot 7 foot Walter Dukes, barefoot 7 foot 1 Elmore Smith, barefoot 6’11 Walt Bellamy, barefoot 6’11 Nate Thurmond, barefoot 6’10 bill russel Bob Lanier and Willis Reed, barefoot 7 foot 2 Artis Gilmore, etc….
      If wilt could drop 56 points on a 7 foot 3 track and field high jump athelte who was also good enough in basketball to made the nba pros, then you don’t have any sensible argument to bring up height and athleticism of hakeem Robinson Ewing mourning shaq etc…. To say that’s gunna drop wilts stats. And the same exact thing goes for if your gunna bring up their defense and rebounding which pales into comparison to the bigs of Wilts time even under much less strict rules with freedom to get away with murda Especially Shaq who would be reduced so heavily in Wilts era with majority of his moves illegal forced to be skill based

    • @beenizz5102
      @beenizz5102 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@w.w.1348 the same reasons you give for lbj not doing as good in the paint in Jordan’s era apply to jordan 10 fold in Wilts era. Wilt played with the most hall of fame bigs of any era and they were the most prideful of smaller guys coming into their domain and MJ would get put on his azzz far more often than he did in his time with no flagrant foul around to help him at all
      And just like gus Johnson, MJ would have multiple dislocated shoulders trying to come in and dunk on wilt who was half a foot taller with the same vertical jumping ability as Mike and the most skilled shot blocker of all time.
      Mike would also have to contend with bill Russell, Elmore smith, Nate Thurmond etc… far better rebounders and rim protectors and overall defenders than any of the bigs u named.
      On top of all that, jordan would be forced to be more skilled as his ball palming wrist carrying crossovers and hesi dribbles would all be traveling violations in Wilts time. He’d need to find a way to cross and free up space while having his hand on top of the ball at all times just like wilt and his peers did. This is why Wilt has no issue in any other era especially the 90s. Just imagine Wilt with the luxuries of traveling, bumping and dislodging defense as the strongest player ever by far, lack of defense being played and lack of hall of fame bigs and the best defending and rebounding big man is a 6 foot 7 power forward rodman proving how much the position has fallen ??? Oh it would be curtains for all the guys u named and jordan and all others in the 90s just like it would be today

    He wore concords every game because sneaker releases were different back then, They didn't have a million different colors. Remember they had strict rules for team colors with predominantly black and white shoes. So notice all throughout MJ's career, he wore the home whites for both home and road games and then the whole team wore black shoes for the playoffs where Jordan debuted the playoff black and red of whichever J's for that year

    As many videos of MJ y’all have seen y’all STILL haven’t seen not even one fourth of the stuff he did because he did it EVERY night and EVERY play and AGAINST EVERYBODY and against EVERY team and it looks so effortless because he was soooo much better than everyone. He torched EVERY damn body and gave everyone helmets with the dunks. The ONLY a player in history with literally NO weakness on writhed side of the ball. When you are the greatest scorer, greatest offensive player AND the greatest defensive player at the same time with the quickest 1st step ever, the longest hang time ever, the highest recorded vertical in NBA history, the greatest mid range jump shot ever, the greatest fade away ever, the best stamina, the highest scoring average ever shooting over 50% from the field and over 80% from the line and averaged 3 steals a game career wise but had games where consistently had 6-7 per game and was relentless tell me what the hell do you do with that, who can stop it AND you did it in the hardest most violent league so you know he would obliterate and destroy ANYBODY in the league today EASY!

      @harrylong7695 well since they completely removed it in 2004 then yah. Handshaking really changed the defense game, but im just talking about in 96, 97 when the 3 point was brought in. Everyone's numbers from deep in these 2 seasons need to be adjusted when comparing them to other seasons

    • @TheRealBangy
      @TheRealBangy Před 11 měsíci +1

      @microwave813 you can't just say those two years are inflated without saying everything after hand checking being removed isn't.. If you check the points per game being scored skyrocketed

    • @MicroWave233
      @MicroWave233 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @harrylong7695 if you looked back at my comment I agreed with you, I think offensive stats have been inflated a bit after the complete removal of hand checking in 2004. But I'm just focusing on the 3 point line being shortened in those 2 seasons. Everyone's numbers who went up needs to be adjusted to see when they actually shot the ball from the original spot. Jordan get a bad rep about his 3 point shooting cause of ignorance but he was decent when he shot more than 2-3 attempts per season, but 96, 97 they were at 40% due to the shortened line. Jordan isn't stepth curry, lol

Once he finally got some help he didn't have to score as much. With those losses Jordan put up unheard numbers on them. That first series against them he averaged over 40.

    Yall keep talking about how easy MJ would catch the ball with 1 hand or how easily he palmed it. I don’t think y’all clearly understand just how enormous his hands are. It’s not just extra long fingers, the palm of his hands are wide as hell too. His hands are larger than kawhi Leonard’s. Look at some of the videos of him giving high fives to other nba players or videos of him shaking their hands and look how he makes their hands look small as duck and then remember these are grown ass men, nba players who have large hands but they look small compared to his and if that still doesn’t convince you I told you awhile back in the comments before to simply Google the video of MJ palming a damn pumpkin EASY! And a pumpkin is much bigger, wider, larger and significantly much heavier than a damn ball that only weighs ounces. It shows you truly how big his hands where and how strong they were to be able to palm a whole large heavy ass pumpkin.
