If you ask me, I would say that this series, in terms of actual quality and visible effort, is an improvement compared to earlier content, at least in my opinion.

What about Saskia Infect? Since Saskia's trigger makes the creature deal the damage, if the creature has infect you only need 5 power worth of infect to kill someone, or 10 power of infect to kill both your Saskia target and the player you're attacking.
And if you do this you will have no friends.
That's just...that's just evil.
Truly evil... what's worse is giving said Infect Creatures Skulk or Fear... though Fear is pointless cuz lots of Artifacts can be played. Skulk is worse. Skulking Saprolings... EVIL!!! EVIL I SAY!!!
This is why we house rules 20 infect damage for commander. Goddamn.
Why not bring in some double strike giving artifacts or instants to an infect creature and you don't even need a 5 power creature
I mean at that point just run become immense.
I built saskia "group slug" , and I must say , it's amazing. played today killed one player with like 102 damage , and then the other two the very next turn! Hydra omnivore is a must include! any questions about my built feel free to ask! , also nice video Wedge good stuff! glad your well enough to make videos again!

this is the deck that im doing my go wide strategy with with doubling season parallel lives and such. with all of the additional combat phases getting thrown around even a single launch the fleet cast is ridiculous whether im going for that impact tremors or my cathars crusade. its glorious

You can also target yourself with Saskia and have triggers for when you are dealt damage. As well as triggers for when damage is dealt by a creature such as barbed shocker allowing you to windfall two to four times a turn.
I think of the following mechanics:
myriad
Melee
goad (both to remove blockers and deal damage)
And obviously evasion and double strike.
Also:
the card Hydra Omnivore.
The thought of Hydra Omnivore attacking when equipped with Blade of selves makes me smile.
I bought Stalwart for its pieces and lands, and Breed for the same concept. After playing with Breed, I decided to just have three commander decks, so good! My girlfriend hates blue, so she picked this one up immediately. Every time you think this deck is down, it finds a way to get back up. Definitely worth buying.
So, does Double Strike just become stupid with this deck? Like, quad-strike?
Kind of but not really.
To bad the Saskia triggers are not combat damage. But I guess she would be broken, being the only commander able to trigger a Sword four times in on attack.

Saskia is a surprisingly awesome commander, outright lethal if the effects are done right. Saskia is a front row, center fan of doubling effects (typically Xenagos shares pop-corn with Saskia), extra combat steps, doubling damage ie: curse of bloodletting on the table with a double strike creature 3 power hitting the chosen player can do crippling damage, for more giggles you can Strionic Resonate Saskia's trigger as the bonus round math:) Great job as always Wedge, WOTC hid the sub theme well in this deck.
I don't think you can use strionic resonator on Saskia
@@timothyreonisto8732 A triggered ability can be identified by the words "when," "whenever," or "at", which will usually be found at the start of the ability :P

Alesha + Breath of Fury + creatures with power 2 or less = combo.
Attack with Alesha to trigger her reanimate, sacrifice the creature enchanted with breath to the trigger, attach to something else, attack again... which means reanimate again with Alesha and reattach Breath of Fury to keep the cycle going.
It isn't an auto win-combo, but it can be a surprise victory and comes in the deck out of the box.
Papa Wedge, i'd love if once you've got your upload footing back if you would consider a special bonus video on your EDH Angus deck i've heard you mention on other magic podcasts! I too run an Angus fog deck!
I'm also a diehard blue player but I played the vanilla version of this Deck against the Atraxa, Breya, and the melitis pre con Deck. Killed all 3 oops in one turn. Was hell of fun.
I can't wait until you do Entropic Uprising. I played it on the release in a small tournament and it was the most fun deck I've ever played. Pure utter CHAOS. :DD
I got Breed Lethality and I love it! I can see why it is the most popular commander on EDHREC,com right now. Already making upgrades.

I really like Saskia. I would also like to make a partner deck with Tana and Savos. I agree that Wizards did aggro right with this deck. They combined aspects of Mardu and Jund aggression with Abzan style pump tricks. It is a lot of fun to play.
i bought the breya precon and added around 19 cards focuesed around a bunch of infinite combos.

Got one for my fiance and Atraxa for me, we've been playing multiplayer with our friends and she's been wrecking all of us, I made a few upgrades such as Sneak Attack, the little green dude that pays one green + tap and you put a creature from your hand onto the battlefield, plus some haste, splinter twin and other mechanics to take control ... she managed to kill me 8 times out of 8 games, 2 of them with my own commander, 3 times with my own Infect + double strike + double damage... Shit is out of control... Last night I had to switch strategies to deal with all of her table (wrath, damnation) plus aura shards to take care of the artifacts and enchantments
She even beat me with my duel commander (Animar) -_-
Wedge, you missed the most beautiful part of damage doublers. The original damage is doubled, and this damage is then pointed to the chosen player, and is doubled again. Thus it deals quadruple damage. If you hit the chosen player with a damage doubler in play, it's 6x damage. If you do it with 2 damage doublers... it's 20x damage. TWENTY. Say hello to my little 2/2, he's about to one shot you. Who needs infect?

Would the Theros Archetypes be any fun in here? Giving the whole team Trample, First Strike, Deathtouch AND Hexproof, and denying everyone else that, sounds pretty fun
Out of all decks Breed Lethality seems like the most fun to me. In second place it would be Invent Superiority for the Izzet player in me.
I got this one. Upgrades have been token generators Krenko, parallel lives, etc. And anthems, as many as I can. With a couple flickers to change the targeted player.

She is really good for a Voltron strategy.
You might think that 3 commander damage per turn is too slow, but her forte is actually normal damage. She kills you with normal damage. Opponents die with 17-20 commander damage on them.
To achieve this, you need ramp. Saskia turn 3 is way better than Saskia turn 4.
Then drop a damage doubler. Dictate of the twin gods, Furnace of rath, making all your creature essentially triples your damage. Saskia deals 18 damage instead of 6, add a 1/1 and you have a two turn lethal.
You can also add additional combat steps, essentially making her double her damage.
Finally, double strike enablers. Cheap and one turn, instants. Hit for 24 on turn 5? Yeah. Additionally with a damage doubler? 48 damage in one turn.
Worst case scenario, you can always go infect.
But it is important to ramp, ramp is key here.

Sakia's "blueless blue" deck seems very interesting.
I bought Yidris and my friends and I couldn't stop laughing at what I cascaded into XD
I bought open hostility. I had a ghave deck that was centered around saproling agro and now I can give it access to red. I run Ravos and Tana as the commanders and the rest of the deck is just anthem effects and saproling makers.
Miss you wedge! You make the best videos and I really look forward to them! I'd love to put my Angus deck against yours.
I wanted to build a +1/+1 counter aggro token, but I just don't have the cards. Rhys, krinko, soldiers, saprolings and zombies sound hilarious, plus cards that can blanket +1/+1 counters to all tokens to make them benifit from the abzan falconer, battle priest cards, plus glorious anthem effects from eleshnorn and lots of black green recursion and draw would make me a very happy boy.
I played this at my store's limited event because they were out of Breed Lethality and I wanted a change of pace. I don't think saprolings is a sub theme. It IS the deck. First thing I noticed was every token was saproling. I was in a pod with 2 other Saskia players and we all used a different commanders, so it was fun as we all discovered how this deck answers artifacts, spawns saprolings, and generally pumps the board together. It is a very violent and hateful deck. I do not feel good running Saskia. I do like the recursion anthem commander and the saproling pair though. Pitsthe focus back on the saprolings and less on you being a monster.
Panharmonicon is a must here
Also double damage effects will actually be 4x damage to the assigned player.
Panharmonicon doesn't work with saskia, as her effect is not a triggered ability because it says "as" not "when"
I took my Saskia build in a different way than most. She felt perfect as a Human tribal commander for me. Go big and Go wide? Humans can do it.

I had a Gahiji Tokens deck that's getting turned into Saskia with cards like Fervent Charge, Torrent of Souls, and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.
I liked the base precon well enough. but I ended up pulling Saskia out and running tana and ravos as the commander. went anthems and equipments for my build.
WAIT IS IT FINALLY YIDRIS TIME?!?! IVE BEEN WAITING ON YOU TO ORDER IT WITH THE UPGRADES TAHT YOU SUGGEST (NO PRESSURE) THIS IS A GOOD THING WEDGE 🧀

Ready to go wide and utterly disgusting damage? How about add craterhoof behemoth, Adriana captain of the guard, grenzo havoc razor...melee triggers stacks and pumps when u attack more players...I might consider building a deck around this commander

this was the deck I bought. I chose to go tall and "deep". Big creatures with evasion, unblocksble, and trample. I have Marath for tokens.

take saskia and go the token rout. very good at bouncing back from board wipes and you always conveniently have a little 1/1 dude to block :)
Get some board presents. And play saskia the turn you attack. That let's you kinda "assassinate" people :D sneaky and a good deck. I actually really like it :)

Has there been brewing for an aristocrats deck using the non-blue colors? You get to run all of the cards from both Prossh and Ghave, and while the commanders themselves don't necessarily work as well with the strategy, I feel like the card pool makes up for it. I might be wrong though; having your commander be a sac outlet seems really strong.
Where is also pariah's shield synergy so you could get out a half combo before drawing guilty conscious

I bought the TD saskia and add and replaced some card....at the end of turn 4 saskia become invisible af protection from anything trample,hexproof/shroud,indes,vigilant ect and the win con is only 2 saskia high powa and u must hav Aurelia so u can hav additional combat phase....
In any edh game I've play since I've got saskia evry one always counter evry move I make

As an anti-blue player whose life motto is "Open Hostility," I support this deck. That being said I already have nothing but aggressive beat face decks so I decided to switch things up and go Yidris (Can't wait for that video because I have NO clue what to do with him). Consider this a vote for your anti-blue deck tech since my group is nothing but blue-filled control freaks. . .

Could you make a sultai colored grindclock deck I've tried to create one but I've not been able to make it work right yet. A helping hand would be nice. Also that ruric thar+havoc festival deck looks some kind of deck I would like to see

I bought this deck and have been playing it for the past two weekends against a few friends. My feeling so far is that I would like more equipment or spells that buffs a single character, since it seems fairly easy to build up a board of smaller creatures. I felt limited with especially Tana, the Bloodsower as she often had way too little attack and toughness for me to attack the other players (they simply had bigger creatures out). Any thoughts?

honestly this deck may be lackluster, but this precon is the single best for deckbuilding. yes ateaxas the strongest general but i love beating the crap out of my opponents million dollar blue deck with a well timed lavalanche.
My friend once copied used rite of replication on my saskia and kicked it. I took about 700,000 damage that turn.

got this deck... would love to kill someone off with it.... but the one game i played i died first... because target on my head is too big and the whiteless deck is pure chaos.... and he bounced everything to our hands played a windfall, and everyone drew 12 then he played one thing that is basically a 40/40 because of our hand sizes and killed me off first

Jakub Morawski well, value wise it goes(most valuable to least valueble) kyranio and Tiro, Breya, yidris, atraxa and saskia. I do think atraxa is one of the best, followed by yidris, then saskia, breya and k+t . But I do hate control so I probably have a bias there.

That being said despite being straightforward in strategy I like it. Does really well to bring a beatdown deck to a multiplayer game, something my normal RG commander couldn't do in multi. I've closely considered buying this deck, even though I swore to myself that I wouldn't make another EDH deck.
