Jane Seymour joins The Tabernacle Choir providing narration for the traditional carol "Good King Wenceslas" for the Christmas special of Music and the Spoken Word, "The Spirit of Giving," featuring the Orchestra at Temple Square. Arrangment by Mack Wilberg, lyrics by John Mason Neale and Thomas Helmore, and narration by David Warner.

In the five years I have lived in Utah, this is the one year i wasn't interested in going to the concert, and I have sincerely regretted it ever since.
If i had a Chorus/Church/Concert like this in my country i would be there every year...but we havent.

I love watching these Mormon Tabernacle productions! They're such a nice escape..I wish I were there watching it in the audience. The amount of hours & rehearsal & blood, sweat, & tears, the preformers are phenomenal!
Watching this now I always end up in tears 😭 the true meaning of Christmas within these stories is wonderful

Heard it for the first time this Christmas day Dec 25 2019 on the radio ,had to Google it and was overwhelmed by the narration and the Tabernacle Choir ,beautifully done
This is the perfect Christmas story. I am going to learn the story so I can retell it to my kids every Christmas
That will become a treasured memory to pass down and to remember up.

Jane Seymour's been a favorite; since she did the movie with Mr.Reeves. I understood she is a Mother of Twins and l am a Twin also.

Good King Wenceslas legent is based on a Czech King Wenceslas. If you go to Prague you will see his statue and you can even visit his grave.
You can not wisit his grave snt Wenceslas chapel in st Vitus catedral is offlimit for public

+Rodier Ratafakus He was later anointed king. Holy Roman Emperor Otto I posthumously "conferred on [Wenceslas] the regal dignity and title" and
that is why, in the legend and song, he is referred to as a "king".
This number was perfect until they sang amen at the end. To me it suggests lack of imagination.
