  • We're back in Fender territory! Today we're featuring a beautiful and totally original 1951 Fender 'Nocaster', and this one is almost too clean to play! This one recently made its way back into the shop and it surely does not disappoint - a set of strong and great sounding pickups, a fantastically playable neck, and of course the pristine finish makes for a top notch collectible guitar. Today we paired it up with an awesome 1962 Fender Super Amp, a great 40w 2x10 combo that nails the Fender tones we love, especially with this guitar in the hands of our friend Dan Phelps!
We'll have these two pieces on our site as soon as possible.

So glad that I finally found ONE vintage Fender T-guitar demo where the demonstrator plays the guitar with the bridge plate still on. I've always wanted to hear what that actually sounds like.

I have a 2003 Custom Shop '51 Nocaster that I love. I'm also carefully restoring a 1962 Super Amp that had a few hacks over the years. I'm determined to get it back to its original glory, so this video was very enjoyable!

Some day, it would be cool to have a Tele that looked like this, new, used, vintage or whatever.

😳 it's in phenomenal condition. Still looks brand new. Someone bought it, never learned how to play, and put it under their bed for nearly 70 years. What a gem. I've seen 1 in my time, poor condition, about a 3.5, very rough for $2500.

This is one of the ONLY videos I've found where the presenter plays a vintage Fender Broad/No/Telecaster with the bridge plate on, as was initially intended. To my ears, it gives the bridge pickup a slightly bassier, more dynamic sound.

Provenance or not, it's still a minty Nocaster.

"We all love the Nocaster", no "we" don't; Tele's are ugly, and the old one's are insanely overpriced. I'd love having the amp, though.
